As long as there isn't a boring RPG aspect to it. I grew kinda tired of the GBA sports games dragging along.

I've read that those games will support the attachment, not necessarily require it.

Look very closely at the new circle pad. If you zoom in on it, you can see a clear split down one side of it. I smell a shopped.

So it seems that Nintendo is just recycling all the old videos on the service now. Have they seriously run out of new content already? Sheesh. Not that I thought it was worth a crap anyway.

TalkBack / Re: 3DS Ambassador Confirmation Tool Available Now
« on: August 19, 2011, 10:41:55 PM »
Hmm… I downloaded Let’s Golf 3D two weeks ago and when I entered my code BOTH upper case and lower case it said my “Information is not available for this serial number.” I also tried it with and without the last digit, it didn’t mater. I’m not worried because I can still prove I’m an ambassador (because I’ve received two Spotpass updates concerning it). But what’s the point of having a confirmation page if it only creates doubt in individuals like me who were confident in their enrollment in the first place? If I can’t confirm it soon then I will have a problem.

If you recall all the crap that happened with the OoT soundtrack givaway, it's pretty obvious Nintendo's web people don't know how to work a website very well.

For (at least) North America, DO NOT enter the last digit of your serial number (the one in the square box) into the toolbar. If you enter every letter/number of your serial, it tells you that you aren't eligible, but without that last one, it tells you that you are. I'm gonna call NoA to make sure I'm squared away even though it told me that I was eligible.

I'm confused... I entered EVERY digit and got the confirmation. I don't understand your argument. I also don't understand how it's possible to get the confirmation without every character typed in. Anyways, go ahead and call, but it worked for me. I think everyone should just type the number as they see it; then call Nintendo if it doesn't work out.

When I typed every single digit into the bar, it said that the system was not eligible for the ambassador program. Then I read on another site about leaving out the last digit, and it worked after that. It appears this may be a North America thing (if that's not where you're from).

To this day, Final Fantasy III for the SNES is still my favorite game of all time. I still play it through once or twice a year.

I'd go for Animal Crossing: Wild World. A few years ago my parents caught into the hype and bought a Wii, but never really played anything more than Wii Sports or Wii Play. I bought my mom Animal Crossing: City Folk for Christmas, and she went nuts with that game. I'd never seen her play any kind of video game with that much focus in my entire life. She loved it. She'd call me on Sundays just to tell me things she'd done to her house and what animals moved into town. Needless to say, it was a good purchase for her, she really enjoyed it.

I'm hoping for Advance Wars.

The last levels seemed really hard, and I just couldn't finish them as a result.  Maybe it's because I'm stupid strategy-wise.  Never have been good at those games.  But with a create/restore save state feature?  That might be the unfair advantage I need.

I may be wrong, but I think the GBA games are going to be released without save state functionality.

I'd say go for Rogue Squadron II. Easy to pick up and play, and it was a launch title. It'll give me a reason to finally get around to playing it.

Ok...so...for Zelda's 25th anniversary, Club Nintendo gives us...leftovers from Mario's 25th anniversary? And on top of that, it's last years Japan Platinum reward?

What the ****?

They are starting to lose me as a customer. I didn't spend all that money this year on games just so I could get a freaking hand-me-down.

Here's an update for you guys. I just logged on to my Club Nintendo page, and near the bottom where it says "Reward Order Inquiry", it shows that I have the OoT cd on back order. Not a whole lot of info there and I'm not sure if it means much right now, but it could be that I've got a copy reserved until they straighten this mess out. Might want to check your own pages and see.

No need to navigate through the menus, just hit Zero twice.

Had the same problem. :(

I don't understand what you mean by "hit zero twice"

Derp, I'm an idiot. I thought you were talking about the site. Duh me.

Nintendo Gaming / Club Nintendo OoT CD offer problem
« on: June 19, 2011, 11:02:26 AM »
I registered the game this morning, and according to Club Nintendo's site, after you register the game, a screen will appear asking you to accept this CD offer. Well, this never happened to me, and from what I can see on the internet, many others are having problems as well. I'm wondering if it is an issue with an ad blocking extension on my browser, but who knows. I'm actually on the phone with Nintendo's support service trying to rectify the situation as I type this. They tell me that it is an issue that they are aware of. If you have this kind of problem as well, I would call them at 1-800-255-3700. Go through the menu's until you can talk to a representative. Good luck everyone!

Whats going on with the 4 swords zelda for free?
If they give it online I might have to pick up the 3ds a little early.

It's going to be a port of the GBA version. I wouldn't be surprised if it only supported local multiplayer.

40 bonus coins for linking your 3DS to the 3DS eShop (when available).
https://club.nintendo.com/link-shop-account.do#link-eshop

Earlier this week I tried linking my 3DS eshop to Club Nintendo multiple times, but the site would never reflect that I did. Logged on today to see that it gave me 80 coins for linking my account twice! Lol.

50 Tracks?

Hopefully it won't be like Mario cd last year and 20 of the tracks are sfx

1. Geruldo Valley
2. Hey Listen SFX
3. Opening chest SFX
etc

This might be what finally puts me over the top and buy this game.

Even if it does contain some SFX tracks, it will be a cool collector's item anyway. I've still got the feather stylus that you could get when Phantom Hourglass came out. Things like that could be worth money someday.

What? Final Fantasy XIII got great reviews.

And a mixed reaction from fans and players. Some people liked the game well enough. Others felt the opposite.
However, calling the series a joke is too early at the moment. There's still Final Fantasy 13-2, Final Fantasy Type 0 (PSP), and Final Fantasy Versus 13 (PS3) coming out.

If you've been playing Final Fantasy for as long as some of us, you'd know it's been a joke for a long time.
