It definitely could be, but you can't count out New Orleans, who have already beaten this Rams team. Amazing game, regardless.

Condoleezza Rice/Cleveland Browns 2020

There's no way that was ever serious. Probably just John Dorsey trying to pinpoint the source of the various leaks out of the Browns organization. One of the guys who should actually be on the shortlist for the job is coaching in this game, though, in Rams QB coach Zac Taylor. Really hoping for a young, innovative offensive mind to get the most out of Baker Mayfield.

God damn that was crazy. Mahomes essentially lost that one in the end but I don't think he had any other options than that throw. No shame in losing 51-54 when you throw 6 touchdowns and almost 500 yards.

People like to bitch about all the rules that hinder defense, but they sure seemed to love this game.

Last night was Stephen A Smith's fault, and he will not be forgiven.

Hell yeah! Everyone said we would go like 2-14 this year...if this is wahat "rebuilding" looks like, then the finished product will be unstoppable. Wilson-Lockett and Wilson-Baldwin are lethal, and Chris Carson may very well be the new Beast Mode.

The Browns have won three in a row, and are 5-2 since Hue Jackson was fired. If we won one of those games we lost in a fluky way early in the season this week's game against Baltimore would be for the division title. Baker Mayfield is the real deal, and a lot of other recent picks are playing at a high level as well. With another strong offseason this team could be a legitimate contender as soon as next season.

What took them so long to realize that the major cause of incompetence was in the coaching?
Did Hue Jackson win something like 3 games in the last 3 seasons?

He went 3-36-1 in his two and a half years in charge. The problem was the previous couple coaches were fired really quickly, and so the owner wanted to prove he could be patient, which unfortunately led to him sticking by Hue way longer than anybody reasonably should have.

I was not expecting the Seahawks the make the playoffs at the start of the year and now I'm getting excited of possibility of them going on a run.  They're playing like they did during the Superbowl years again: strong defense and a run focused offense with Russell Wilson pulling miracles out of his ass when needed.

What really impressed me was the improvement of the offensive line.  The o-line sucked for years, which pretty means your whole offense sucks.  Fans called for o-line coach Tom Cable to be fired and he finally was in the offseason and, gee what a surprise, the o-line immediately became credible again despite featuring the same players as last year.  All these years of drafting offensive linemen "busts" and they finally realized that maybe if the same idiot is coaching all of these busts that that might be the source of the problem.  Cable is now the o-line coach for the Oakland Raiders.  Boy does that fit.

There's a lot of new rosters in the playoffs this year or teams like the Saints and Chargers that finally rebuilt around their veteran quarterback.  Obviously I'm cheering for the Hawks but if that doesn't work out the key thing is NOT THE PATRIOTS.  If the Eagles win it back to back I'd get sick of them pretty quickly but the idea of the Legend of Nick Foles growing would be kind of funny.  Carson Wentz would be a laughing stock if Foles won the Superbowl AGAIN.

I have a feeling NE is going to take it again, and Brady will retire. He's complete **** now, like Peyton was in his last season...but it's still pretty cool to go out on a high note.

That would be ideal. At least Malcom Butler is gone...I think they'd give the ball to Carson this time.

If I wasn't a Seahawks fan I would find this scenario hilarious: the Seahawks decide to run it this time and... Carson fumbles.

Who would have thought we'd be getting screwed by bad calls (and playing shitty tbh) in Dallas?

Roger Gooddell is at the game, visited a fan's house earlier - his dream is obviously New England vs Dallas. Pretty predictable. To be fair they missed a couple calls against both teams, but those late PI calls were nothing short of highway robbery. I hope Dallas gets destroyed next week.

Didn't like those penalty calls late in the game but I'd also like to point this out:

Ezekiel Elliott 137 yards
Chris Carson 20 yards

20 yards?  What the hell happened to the run game?

I really lost my patience once KJ Wright got an end zone interception to keep the Hawks in the game and the offense responded with penalties and a 3-and-out.  The play calling didn't even make sense.  It was like 2nd-and-22 or something like that and they called a checkdown pass that got like two yards and then ran on 3rd-and-20.  Well that's better for the punt.  PUNT?!!  It's the fourth quarter in a playoff game and you're behind!  You don't give up possession to get a favourable punt!  I was screaming at my TV when I saw that nonsense!  I don't care if it's 3rd-and-50, go for a long pass and at least try to keep the drive going.  You can punt on fourth down.
