I was not expecting the Seahawks the make the playoffs at the start of the year and now I'm getting excited of possibility of them going on a run. They're playing like they did during the Superbowl years again: strong defense and a run focused offense with Russell Wilson pulling miracles out of his ass when needed.
What really impressed me was the improvement of the offensive line. The o-line sucked for years, which pretty means your whole offense sucks. Fans called for o-line coach Tom Cable to be fired and he finally was in the offseason and, gee what a surprise, the o-line immediately became credible again despite featuring the same players as last year. All these years of drafting offensive linemen "busts" and they finally realized that maybe if the same idiot is coaching all of these busts that that might be the source of the problem. Cable is now the o-line coach for the Oakland Raiders. Boy does that fit.
There's a lot of new rosters in the playoffs this year or teams like the Saints and Chargers that finally rebuilt around their veteran quarterback. Obviously I'm cheering for the Hawks but if that doesn't work out the key thing is NOT THE PATRIOTS. If the Eagles win it back to back I'd get sick of them pretty quickly but the idea of the Legend of Nick Foles growing would be kind of funny. Carson Wentz would be a laughing stock if Foles won the Superbowl AGAIN.
