This game's bloody incredible. One of the best single player experieces on the Wii yet; you never know what the hell is going to happen next and it throws so much at you at a rapid pace. Never a dull moment. One minute you're taking down a helicopter with a handgun, the next you're being swept away in a tsunami, only to wash up next to a maniac with a bomb strapped to his chest.

The industry destroying 'mini-games' (uuurrr hurrr can't possibly enjoy those) work really well. Many of them are one-offs and you'll be learning how to control them on-the-fly, which adds to the intensity. Seriously, there are just so many hilariously random, amazing moments. It easily surpasses Disaster Report and Raw Danger on PS2 in this regard, ie; INFERNAL GETS HARD FOR THESE TWO GAMES.

This is my Wii GOTY. <3

Sounds like Feel the Magic.

JB HiFi had heaps of copies when I got it, but I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Yeah picked this up from the second nearest JB to me. Haven't put it down yet. I tried to avoid previews, reviews and videos for this one, I mean I read a few and thought I had a bit of an idea on how it plays. I am surprised how wrong I was, pleasantly surprised of course. It's a real pity USers won't get this one for a while (or at all).

Will add more impressions after a bit.

I want this. NoA, announce a release date already!

Where's this story take place, RAB? It'd be ironic if the game took place in the US and then was released everywhere but here. >:(

It takes place in the US except for the prologue/title sequence which is in the Andes.
Fake city though. I think it's called something catchy like Blue Ocean City. I guess it was Atlantic City without the casino.

Blue Ridge City! And yes the game is very American, even the president is in the game. I suspect it will come over there next year some time. Interviewers really have to pester Reggie about it, he can't get away with this.

Yeah so my reader review. I was only on like stage 5 when I wrote that. I think I'm nearing the end of the game now, stage 17 or so and it's so so epic. GOTY.

Just finished my first play through yesterday. Epic ending sequences from fighting that Metal Gear-type thing to defusing the nuclear bomb. I completed the last couple of stages while a couple of my mates watched on, I'm pretty sure they're both sold on the concept.

I am getting this game.  Why is it not out in the US?  I need this.  If it does not get a release I will confront Reggie and the earth will shake and crumble and it will be a real disaster: day of crisis and I will play the game that way.

The only thing that stands between us and this game is Reggie himself. I think everyone at NoA wants this game in America, but Reggie is pulling a Bernie Stoler and ignoring an awesome game.

I decided to get the Euro version from Amazon UK.
It was only 26 euros (roughly 35 bucks) and it works like a charm on my US Wii with Menu loader!  8)

I want to know why it's not out here.

MGS4 and RE5 made it, but not this.

It could be a sleeper hit budget title too.

I would guess quite a bit knowing how NOJ and NOA seem to be separated more often then not in both knowledge and decision making (same with Nintendo's other branches. Sega of America was quite the same way from what I Understand). He probably has a lot of room to decide which games are published in NA and which ones are not.
