The Videogame Name Game!
« on: June 22, 2003, 08:12:41 PM »
Heh, i stole this idea from Gaming age forums who stole it from Something Awful forums. Anyway, heres how it goes. Someone names a game, then the next person names a game that starts with the last letter of the previous games name. For example i'll start with "Mario Tennis (ends with s)" then the next person says (starts with s)"SSX Tricky", then "Yoshis Story" etc.

You cannot say a game that has already been mentioned. The person who gets the last post wins! If no-one can reply to it within 48 hours, then the last person who posted a game wins.... nothing

You can post as many times as you want. But not after yourself

If the game ends with a number, then the next game must start with that number, or the last letter of that number. For example, with "Super Mario Bros. 2", the next game has to start with a "o" or a "2". "o" is the last letter in "two". Get it? Ok i'll start, here we go!

Metroid Prime

Y's Vanished Omen

A really really good RPG for the Sega Master System. There were other games in the Y's series on the MSX before Vanished Omen.

Plok

A great platformer on the Super NES. It did nothing original, but it did provide some good solid fun. Plok could launch his limbs as weapons (he was made of cloth)
The worlds were extremely colourful and varid. Plus the music was bloody outstanding. It was composed by a well known guy (in the VGM industry, at least) who did the music for Super Off-Road and a host of C64 games. His name escapes me...

Earthbound

A pleasing RPG for the SNES, who I hope will one day have a sequel on a non-handheld Nintendo console.

4x4 EVO 2

It's for GameCube, and I noticed that Gamespot gave it a 4.8 when I went there to search for some game that started with a 4, because the last person decided to be an... erm..  well.
