Ubisoft is discounting select Wii U and 3DS titles up to 50% off in the Nintendo eShop until 8:59 A.M. PT on March 31.

Most of the physical copies of these games are cheaper elsewhere.

The only one that interests me is Assassin's Creed IV. Unfortunately for them I would prefer a physical copy and I have seen it as low as $25.

It's odd - I'm seeing news of this sale pop up in lots of places, but the pricing is hardly compelling. Almost every game is cheaper in physical form - in some cases by quite a large margin.  That's the digital future though: no pricing competition makes any sale newsworthy.

Agree with what others have posted, the "deals" on the retail games are very underwhelming.  Assassin's Creed 4 is on my list of games to buy but it's already down to $25 at Amazon and is bound to be under $20 by summer.

If third parties are going to dump the Wii U the they need to cut the price of their digital games down to say $29.99, which is the price I am willing to pay for AC IV.
