I don't know whether to tell you to keep going or stop BlacknMild. Allison Brie is like hypno Toad. Damn it there must be something imperfect, so I can stop staring comparing everything to her.

In Michael Bay's TMNT the "M" stands for Martian...

So he intends to try and change what the Turtles have been since their very creation? What made him think this is even slightly a good idea? Yes there are alien races in the TMNT universe, but the Turtles themselves are not.

Do you guys remember the scene in Groundhog Day where Bill Murray tells a psychiatrist that he's stuck in a time loop and the psychiatrist tells him that he'll see him tomorrow, leading to Murray putting a pillow over his head and repeatedly punching his pillow-covered face?  Yeah, that's my reaction to this "announcement".  Seriously, **** you, Michael Bay.  Haven't you done enough damage already with Transformers 2 and 3 (yes, I liked the first movie. So sue me)?

I suppose it could be worse...he could be doing Beast Wars Transformers now and ruining one of the few good Transformers series.

Whoo-hoo!
Been harassing the theater into doing an Avengers Marathon.  Got word today - it's happening!

Iron Man
Hulk
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America
Avengers

Starts at 12:30 in the afternoon, ends a little after two in the morning.  $36.75 for the full ticket.

Haven't seen Thor (or, of course, Avengers) yet.  Liked Iron Man/2, Loved Captain America, mostly enjoyed Hulk...  Can't wait!

Yeah, I...wanted to kill a small child when I saw this. Did you see that fan reaction prompted him to tell people to "chill out?" And that he was working with one of the creators (probably Kevin Eastman) to expand the story's scope and universe? Bullshit. Michael Bay is ruining yet another cherished childhood series. Expect a heated Connectivity bonus segment debate about this. Neal and Scott are bizarrely okay with this change. Mike and I? Not so much.

Michael Bay is terrible and I think that even audiences hate him.

His really successful movies aren't successful because of him but because he attaches himself to something the audience loves like a lamprey.  He gets to an actor while he's hot or gets a cherished childhood tv show and then put his name near it.  People hear his name but don't give a **** because they want to see Optimus or Ben Affleck (before Bennifer).  Transformers would have been successful as long as someone competent enought to have giant robots fight in front of the camera directed.

Congrats.  Thor is as good as it could be with the Source Material.  His origin isn't really that great, but before and after it could be a good movie.

No, it isn't. Pretty much every single scene that took place in Midgard was terrible.

Call your local theater and harass them.  That's how I got it. :D

Bonus if one of your local theaters is AMC - call the other one, if they compete with AMC, you can tell them how much AMC sucks and how much they rock (which in my case has the bonus of being 100% true).

The two Ultimate Avengers films utilized him well enough. The problem is that Thor is literally a god, not just some guy that was exposed to gamma radiation. He's one a completely different level than anyone else in the Avengers, with his only real threat being other gods.

Shaymin: "And my streak of not going to see a movie in theatres this decade will continue."

I wear glasses, so movie 3D is flat out for me. I was going to break the streak for Dark Knight Returns, but not if I'm going to get bent in half and stuffed through a mailbox (@igndotcom) for the privilege.
