And of course perfect color replication is what makes a movie...
Silly monkeys; give them thumbs they make a club and beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an a eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here.

I never really said that... was just answering your question.
Why doesn't Metroid ever take off his armor?

So if you don't think perfect color replication makes or breaks a movie, then how is it detracting? Is the movie less enjoyable because the blue looks a little green? Would you even really notice something like that without a side-by-side comparison, to know what color the director intended to show?

Yeah, 3D movies do seem a bit darker but that's only because of the glasses.

I think 3D is awesome, sometimes breathtakingly so. How To Train Your Dragon is a good example of how 3D can make a movie just that much better.

What I don't like is the post production 3D work (i.e. the shoe-horned kind). Clash of Titans featured post production 3D work and so did The Last Air Bender. Both those movies sucked, but the 3D was god awful in its own right.

Anyway, once we do not need glasses anymore it'll become apparent to even the biggest hater why true 3D (filmed from the start in 3D) is and always will be the new standard.

I have no links or anything to support this,  but I have heard rumors that the new spidey will be set in the ultimate universe. Take that with all the salt you like.

I'v heard some ultimate talk, and apparently there will be more back story to his parents and as to why they got dead. Maybe he'll have mechanical web shooters like the comic? In ultimates uncle ben and aunt may are hippies, which is why sally field is in. Martin Sheen is pretty much a typical Uncle Ben sort.

so far casting for this new one seems pretty good

I hope it isn't. I'm tired of the black suit and symbiotes. It's in the all the games as well.

oh yeah, they need none of that. I'd like the movies to be in their own continuity. I always thought it would be funny if Parker got bit by a radioactive spider and only thought thats how he got the powers only to find out years later that his parents were involved in unusual experiments.

and for the lizard...im really hoping for a The Fly and American Werewolf in London type transformation.

I don't like the Ultimate universe, specifically some of the changes they made (like making the Venom symbiont a suit created by Brock and Parker's father as a cure for cancer rather than as an alien organism).

It should be. It'll tie in better with the other Marvel movies, which are in the Ultimate Universe.

I can't believe how popular comic book movies have become. Don't get me wrong, I've always liked comic book movies but this is kinda ridiculous. Batman, X-men (and Wolverine), Watchmen, Iron Man, Thor, The Avengers, Green Lantern, Death Pool and a Spider Man reboot?

I really don't like how Hollywood beats the **** out a concept till it isn't appealing anymore.

its basically the backlash from all the tween and chick flicks they make, finally their tapping into the male market again

i remember in the late 90s or early millineum they were talking about how they could make so much more money off chick flicks than they could off of dudes, the flaw in the logic is that the male/female population is about 50/50

As long as Lex Luthor is not the villain that is awesome.  It's about time we get to see Superman punch someone.

There were rumors of Darkseid as the villian, unless I am confusing this new superman with the aborted Tim Burton one.

Please don't let Tim Burton anywhere hear it.  A million bucks says if he did it Johnny Depp would be superman.

It would've been Nick Cage last time Burton was in charge of "Superman Lives."

I just read about the proposed Superman Lives movie. Producer Jon Peters wanted to ditch the red and blue costume (calling it "faggy") in favor of a black costume, wanted to make Superman not fly, give Lex Luthor a space dog, and have Braniac fight polar bears and have a sidekick that Peters called a "gay R2-D2 with attitude". Ugh, that would have been a disaster.

You forgot the giant spider*. They planned on Superman fighting a giant spider.

*Movie Trivia Time:
Q: What happened to the Giant Spider that was supposed to be in Tim Burton's Abborted Superman Lives?

A: It eventually ended up in Wild West starring Will Smith

-Executives behind the movie were pushing all kinds of retarded ideas and these came to light after Kevin Smith was hired to re-write the script.
