I guess you can post them here Stogi. There has been other food posted here besides sandwiches.
I personally love pizza so I want to see what you come up with.

Mmm Mmm Mmm.
You guys have to make a burger like this once.

Season and wrap it in a foil pocket, as air tight as possible, so that it balloons up like jiffy pop.

I did that last night, only i put the burger patty on a bed of seasoned onions and mushrooms(I have pics if anyone is interested), seasoned the burger, then topped it off with more seasoned onions and mushrooms(salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika).

The burger basically boiled in it's own juices and the juices of the mushrooms and onions while being cooked on the stove top in a skillet. No clean up either. Skillet was as clean when I was done as it was when I started. Results in a flavor infused and very juicy burger. Delicious.

this is intriguing. I've heard of smash burgers, bbq burgers, butter burgers, juice burgers but not this. Is it a steamed burger like white castle?

It's more of a stewed burger patty since it kinda stews/boils in it's own juices for about 10 minutes on both sides.

I'll upload some pics I took last nite later if you want to see.
I didn't get a pic of the burger cooked with the foil open since my girl opened up the wraps during Chuck and slapped them on buns before I realized what she was doing.

For 1, all the pics are kinda big and would take up a lot of space. Most of them are blurry and taken from a cell phone in poor lighting,

and 2, it was 1:30 in the morning and I didn't feel like making them into thumbnails. Since tinypic doesn't give the option like photo bucket, its either not gonna happen or some other time when I feel editing the post and/or re-uploading to photobucket.

Anyone ever had a lamb burger?  I made one for the first time last week--very tasty!  Although, if I ever do it again I'm going to have to break out the grill because this thing was greasy!

Never had a lamb  burger, but I updated the missing pic from my last burger by cooking another one just now.

Fresh off the stove, just opened the foil and the steam still rising.

and an additional pic before the top bun was added (no bacon this time though)

Oh man, I tried a foil broil burger, very delicious! The burger has a softer texture and the whole thing is very moist. I put it in a tortilla with cheese and toasted it in the pan, it turned out fantastic. A new alternative to my smash burgers.

Next time put some veggies in with the burger to broil. Season the veggies separately from the burger though.

I decided to keep it simple for my first foil broil. Salt and Fresh ground pepper for seasoning, then wrapping it with a two slices of cheddar cheese and little mayo for the glue.

I'm just glad you liked it. I'm not sure if I invented the Foil Broil, since you've never heard of it, but it's my new favorite way to cook a burger.

Doing research, apparently Cuban style burgers are fully made with toppings and buns, then wrapped in foil, pressed down, and put back on the grill. Still, your method is different. I fully credit the foil broil burger to BnM2k1.

At a summer camp that I worked at we had a cook out night where we would make burgers by putting ground beef in tin foil and putting the foil on the embers of the camp fire. I would actually put onions inside the ground beef while it cooked. It is quite good and a great way to make food when you are camping with no need for pots and pans and very little clean up. I always called it the bachelor burger.
