You can't even spell ban correctly.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Let's not lift the ban, because then this place will turn into gamefaqs. People think debating clones in Melee and whether it was rushed or not, just wait until you open up this can of worms.

... And GP can't spell place right.  We're not ready for grownup discussions.

Yeah, how about we don't do that. Political discussions bring out the worst in people, and in the end of it all people just agree to disagree which got you no place further than where you started.

Not to mention the fact that it can get personal REALLY fast. The thing with video game debates is that they rarely get personal and ends with the topic. Political/Religious discussions end with a lot of bad blood between people.

Maybe because some of us are trying to keep it in the spirit of the fun house? We've had other discussions as well that turned out nasty and got the thread closed.

Yeah, keep the politics in the funhouse. I don't think it needs to go into other areas of the site.

Well, I guess it's a good thing we still have the ban.  I try a simple poll just to see who people are voting for and before the day is up, GP is spewing crap from her mouth about Nazi's and the Klan.

Political Bans for all.

The funny thing is that no one even bothered paying attention to that statement until you quoted it and made it an issue.  But I am willing to bet you knew what would happen, heck it was starting to unravel long before I posted.

How about a secret, members only political forum?

I'm tired of people bringing up political talk, then the topic getting locked down before someone gets to make their point.

Better yet, how about making the funhouse members only (to view and post) but "no rules" (outside of common courtsey and such)?
