others to recommend:

now and then, here and there
escaflowne
lain
trigun
anything with the word "robotech" or "macross" in the title
vampire hunter D (both of them)
ghost in the shell (movies and series)

Edit: can't believe i forgot, Samurai 7. truly one of the best things i've seen in years, animated or no

I've been watching Zero no Tsukaima.  I finished all that is out.  I really don't like how they seem to be enlarging Siesta "womanly features" as time goes on.  She was perfectly cute to began with.  Its getting to the point where it ain't cute anymore.

That's actually how her character in the novels sorta becomes: the character that you get annoyed with because she gets in the way all the time...

Anime...

Love it Love it Love it!!

Escaflowne is probably my favorite series over all, right up there with Last Exile.

Right now I'm watching: Heroic Age, Claymore, and the 3 differnet Nanoha series.

I'm watching a few others here and there, i didn't read many of the comments because I have uh.... a "prescription" that needs filling, and the store is going to close soon...

anyway, is anyone watching/have watched any of those?
Silly monkeys; give them thumbs they make a club and beat their brother down. How they survive so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an a eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here.

I'm watching Moetan. That's win.

Somehow I find myself enjoying Code-E. Ebihara looks like a turtle IMO.

Seen two eps of Majokko Tsukune-chan. That is total epic win.

Kenichi seriously jumped the shark around ep 26, went from Karate Kid to Dragon Ball Z with kung-fu. Seriously, shouting attack names, "my powerlevel is so high you can't even touch me if I don't do anything", placing his palms on the chest of an enemy with light glowing from his hands, blasting the enemy away (seriously, this is just so ridiculous in a show that previously remained mostly realistic).

man, I seriously gotta stop typing, I'm starting to sound like the Homestar Runner!

What series are you talking about? I'm intrigued.

I've been following Heroic Age, Major, Captain Tsubasa, Eyeshield 21 (but apparently it was licensed??? I didn't even notice it...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!), Naruto Shippuden (it's good but it's stalling alot even though it's on the main storyline, good thing there's the manga), One Piece, Bleach, Mononoke (looks like a really good feast for the eyes), Edo Rocket (I got some cathing up to do though), and Saint Seiya the Hades Chapter...yup that's pretty much it I think.

He's talking about History's Greatest Disciple Kenichi, which I had started watching, but I was mostly unimpressed...even more-so after checking up on the series around the time they start going all Dragonball like KDR mentioned... =\

Hmm, I just checked on animesuki, they're on episode 41, oh darn if I actually like it I have alot of catching up, but I am definitely going to watch the first few episodes because I've been wanting to watch more fighting oriented anime.

I gotta say that Kenichi is a wierd show, but it's definitely growing on me and I have no clue as to why it is.

OH, I forgot to mention that I am also currently watching Kaleido Star, it's pretty good so far considering I don't know of any other circus based anime.

Kenichi is pretty nice up until Ep 26, that was the originally planned end of the series before it got an extension.

Zombie Loan is pretty cool, too. I mean, it's got zombies! Smart zombies!
