dodge them and shoot them. You can also destroy them by pressing L or R when their close to you. Once the missiles are gone shoot out it's eyes and keep practising ! You'll kill Andross eventually although it's not much of an ending ...

Same, except for the knock my head so hard I pass out bit. Everytime I come out of a level back to delfino plaza it always shows that cut scene. Now that I've been to that place isn't it supposed to stop now? Doesn't it have anything better to show me?

Those mini game puzzle lands are soo cool. I love how they've tweaked the music and made it sound all jazz like. I think when you say yoshi can go underwater means go underground in those little tunnel things. Am i right?

My dad hooked up my Nintendo 64 to an old mac ages ago. The screen was too small though. I'm not sure back maybe you can use the 64 RF switch thingy to hook to input serial port 1 thingy.

I had to sell my 64 to get my Gamecube (I'm poor). I have played Mario 64 although I didn't really finish it. You can buy a preowned N64 from any second hand store now for only $15 and that comes with controller and cables and stuff. Man I really should get another 64. Thanks for your help too. I didn't know it unlocked a new place though ...

Nintendo Gaming / Super Mario Sunshine - Strange Light?

Hi there

You know in Delfino Plaza where theres a dolphin statue with lemons? Well theres a "mysterious band of light" (as the D.E.B.S alert calls it) there. I've tried everything I can think of but I can't work out what it's for. It's been there for ages and ages and I've kinda given up on it now. (I have 35 Shine Sprites)

So any way, here's my question ... what is the "mysterious band of light" for and what does it do and how do you do it and when etc etc etc.

THANKS

Yoshi always drowns. He mearly splits up into little pixels and floats up into the air. How can he possibly swim? I've had heaps of trouble with trying to get him to that island. How does he go underwater?

Character no 51: Mew

I've got that game on emulator. It's sumthing like hold R while you press B or sumthing. check the instruction manual. You should get one when the games rented. Cause u only got it today just give it sum time. You should figure it out.

Nintendo Gaming / How do you catch items in smash bros melee?
« on: July 04, 2003, 05:40:39 PM »
WRONG !!!! that's only the newbie way.

Say a beam sword is on a platform above you.
Jump thru the bottom of the platform and press Z in mid air when your near it.
You should pick it up right when you jump!
TADA!
instant kane your enemies!
This technique (it's called mid-air catching) is best for items like heart container (when it floats down) and parasol (when it floats down) cool huh?

« on: July 03, 2003, 04:14:05 PM »
okay then. nice.

Go to the tree stump with the tarkeen key hanging over it. walk around the stump and look down. there is a platform. fall onto the platform and collect the flechettes. Turn around and there is a cave full of goodies. (Large medkit, rockets, shotgun shells, more flechettes etc.) get all of them and climb up the ladder at the end of the cave. the ladder takes u up thru the stump to where the tarkeen key is. all you have to do is jump to get it.

Cool huh? I figured it out all by myself!

Can a moderator close this topic now ?
I have answered my own question and there is no need for it to stay active. thnx

Nintendo Gaming / GameCube controller, Really hurts...
« on: June 02, 2003, 10:59:40 PM »
The L and R buttons are sensitive to touch (even when you dont press them fully down) Make sure that you are not holding them slightly down in your default holding position. A new feature like button (in this case trigger) sensitivity is brand new and most gamers would think it would be a positive. I liked the old nintendo 64 style Z button(under the controller) really origional and the slightest touch would press nearly the whole way down making it a quick and easy access for shooting games such as Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Now the L and R buttons on the game cube are ergonomic but far too large. They should be more like the 64 style Z button cause it would make blasting the hell out of my friend on 007 Night fire a much more enjoyable expierience.  Etc. etc. etc.

Besides they would just lose money giving them away every month. sure they might give one away for free, but that's only cause you bought a gmaecube. Burning short version games (about 6) onto one mini dic is not as easy as burning 7 full games onto a big CD rom.

Yes, Yes fine so I was talking about the horrible quicktime movie demos. aargh (shiver) horrible. Isn't 1 little mistake forgivable? You mate all mate know mate how mate dum mate Aussies mate are mate.

Nintendo Gaming / New Nintendo mascots?
« on: June 02, 2003, 02:00:22 AM »
We all know that nintendo along with some other companies (not RARE ... dirty traitors!) have the potential to come up with something magnificent that will have the next gen gamer gob smacked. They will probably create another Zelda+metroid+perfect dark game or mascot. Personally I would love to have a new character to drool over but not if it replaces the mario and link and donkey kong and pikachu etc etc etc that we all love and cherish. Without them I would be hart broken

It still hasn't been confirmed Pichu and other similar organisms can be considered "male," nor female.  Please refer to such genetic [freaks] as "it."

Don't worry I will refer to strange organisms such as pokemon and that giant shim shiek as "it"

NOW WATTA BOUT MY CLONE QUESTION? don't you think that ninetndo could have done a better job as far as shortcuts and tagging goes?
