I am interested if this becomes a thing. I am on the East Coast, I know time zones can be a hurdle to jump here.

Halo Wars is now backwards compatible. I've been a bit addicted to it again.

I have not added nearly that many people.  If anyone wants to add me, feel free.

Feel free to go to my profile, you can see the friends listed, just start requesting. Most of them will add you. Though I'm thinking you get the most benefits from having a small group of dedicated friends over a ton of random kids who don't play.

I now have over 350. I see that the friend score is based on people commenting on your answers, not how many you have.

Broodwars must have blocked me... :( or he uninstalled the game. And Daan dropped me too. I had to ask again. :D

I am now sitting on 160 "friends", and it's put me at about 1/4 of the way through level 6. We're getting to be a giant circle. Most of my suggested friends have 60 or more mutual friends.

I'm just a whore.

You would think. Many are letting their inner cross dressing tendencies out in this app... and furry costumes.

UncleBob and Jonny like to be naked. I am currently sporting a bikini. There may be incriminating photos of me naked but I can't confirm.

Where is everyone? I haven't seen anyone from my friendlist online since the update released. Who is going to organize some nwr 4 on 4?

Apparently he was sicker than was let on. Such sad news, he was a legend and will be missed.

I get what you are saying, Evan. They feel like training exercises rather than full fledged levels. Though as I get closer to the end, more of what I know is put to the test. And finding the entrances is getting tricky. So, it's advancing but the single player doesn't feel like a single player game.

It's hard to look at the map while shooting. I look when respawning to gauge where to go, if I should clean up home base or jump to the front line, but that's about it. Inkstrikes force a look if only for a second.

Check for new gear every day. I usually see one new 3 slot piece in each category. I believe level 10 is the unlock for the better gear but I could be wrong.

I just started playing with the Aerospray RG with ink mines and inkstrike. Very nice.

Soren, you kept disappearing from the matches. Didn't help the game out us on opposite teams most of the time.

We had some good games. Glad I was able to get in a few with you shyguy.

The ranked battles are friggin difficult.

I have broken 1000 barrier, even going over 1200 on occasion. Nintendo needs to track this stuff.

Many times I tried to join someone and end up with no one. I think it's because no one left the group to open a spot.

I wish the game would emulate halo multi player by way of allowing people to party up, and when ranked gaming starts hopefully they'll keep people matched with similar skills.

I asked for judd's advice after a round of games, I was smoking so he gave me an extra 400. In case someone else didn't know he does that.

Feel free to add my NNID if we aren't friends already. So hard to tell who's a friend and who isn't online when Mii names are being used online and not NNID names! :O

I have a request waiting... :D

Played with Michael and Luke, and a Zachary but I'm not sure if he's the same as on nwr. Good games, we were constantly matched up with overseas people. Makes me wonder how large the American crowd is or isn't.

The game seems to be about controlling choke points after building a base paint layer. Can be frustrating when you have a team of lone wolves versus a team who works together.

Question: does anyone get the scoring system? I have yet to score over 1000 points. I feel like I lay a lot of ink, I get some good kills in using a variety of means... I don't know what to focus on.

Does anyone want to play tonight or even right now? I am in the CST (GMT -6) zone of time. I think Disco Stu is a NWR user. I played with him last night. Was fun. :)

I added you to my friend list.

Who is organizing a play night/day? I played last night with a couple nwr people. It's still very lame that voice chat is not an option. The reporters doing the animal crossing mumble is disappointing too. But still fun game.

I, like many, started with the Atari 2600. Asteroids, Defender, Space Invaders, Yar's Revenge, Pitfall, Centipede, and the list goes on. I beat Pitfall in under 20 minutes and sent a photo in for the shoulder patch and membership into the Activision club. I flipped the score Asteroids 3 times. Amazing times. And received many hickies from sticking the cover of the controller on my face and chest. Don't deny your 9 year self wouldn't do the same!

Nintendo came out and my dad bought the ROB set with Duck Hunt and Gyroscope. Of course I picked up Super Mario, Zelda (gold cartridge!), Ninja Gaiden, Robocop, Batman, World Runner, Excitebike, so many classics. I miss Batman, that was an amazing game. I beat Contra without losing a life. I always tried to get through World Runner, but damn it was hard.

Then I fell out of gaming. Comic books took over my life. I gave away my NES, sold off my Genesis. I had no interest in having the SNES. And I was fine with the choice, no regrets.

Then I met a girl. And she wanted Donkey Kong Country. I never heard of it. But we got it. And so began a slow uptick back into gaming. I got Super Metroid on sale. Picked up Killer Instinct with the soundtrack. We had all of the Donkey Kong Games.

Then - it happened. The N64. OMG! Mario64, Mischief Makers, Turok, Goldeneye, Bomberman64, Mario Kart 64, Doom 64, Quake 1 & 2... such awesomeness. My wife at the time surprised me on my birthday with it, she had put it on layaway and paid it off over time. And this is the system I identify with. I have so many of the games to this day. Some I got rid of and wish I had again. Some I wish I never played, but whatever.

I have been a Nintendo fan for as long as they have put out systems. I have a launch black Gamecube, even added a network adapter in hopes a game I liked would support online gaming. Mario Kart is close enough. I have a launch Wii soft-modded, and is the best way to play Quake. My Wii U library is a good size. I also have an original Gamboy (and the box and styrofoam protection), advance gameboy, DS, and 3DS. I do have a desire that Nintendo would provide more options with their services instead of treating everyone as if they'll never understand how things work. But I can't give up on great games so I'll always buy a launch system from them. They also are notorious for removing functions from systems as time goes on so another reason to buy a launch system.
