NWR Feedback / What happens to old topics?
« on: February 03, 2004, 10:39:51 AM »
Do they get deleted? Because I'm looking for one of my older topics, but I fear it has been deleted.

It was started by me, and called "Custom Game" and it was in the Gamecube Discussion forum.

I'd just prefer wathcing a full motion length movie of the game, after veiwing the 27 min trailer.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:New Unity Screenshots Revealed
« on: January 18, 2004, 01:13:11 PM »
GTA 3 was fun, specially going to my friends house and doing some of the missions. Then I bought it for PC and beat it all the way through and stopped playing it...there wasn't much left, unless you want to spend the rest of the time looking for hidden packages, which I hate doing in games. So I was left with no replay value, although the time I spent was enjoyable.

Then I got Vice City, and to tell you the truth, there was nothing innovative in that at all. The whole "chainsaw" or "walking into buildings" or "motorcycles" was just a pathetic gimmick to sell games. Unfortunately, Americans are pretty "stupid" when it comes to how innovative a game is, and they swallowed up Vice City whole. I took a poll of my friends of how quick they stopped playing, and it was right after they completed the missions. It wasn't like GTA III, where they played for an additional few months just enjoying the "free-ness" in the game.

So in conclusion, GTA III was very innovative. Vice City, just a rehash, as some people like to call it.

Japan is the land of the rising sun, because it is on the cutoff of the meridian line. Then if you cross over, you'll travel back a day in time to hawaii.

They'd have to come up with some really confusing scientific theory to make that work in the game.

Remember, the game revolves around reality, we can't really have dolls running around killing people because that's just tooo unrealstic.

Psssh, the scene where the zombie is hanging off his neck is torturesome, specially when you don't know if it'll attack you or not, so you keep an eye on it at all times.

I remember readin the Q&A in IGN mailbag once. The guy remored that Nintendo might be working on some device, which could be like sensors for hand movemens.

For example, instead of pressing "B" to pull the level, but you'd use the special device and move your hands and arms in a way, so you pulled the lever.

It'll be Nintendo's announcement to enter the porno industry with famous characters, such as Samus, Princess Peach, and Daisy.

No surprise there, another anti-Nintendo fan trying to preach us that Nintendo sucks...Doesn't he realize it is hopeless and he will ultimately fail.

Bill Gates invested money in Apple just to keep it in business, so Microsoft wouldn't be considered a Monoply. That's how pathetic Mac really is.

There is one problem with cartridge, it cannot hold as much data...and with games these days, you need a lot of room for data.

I think I read an article on IGN that stated that this new piece of hardware WILL NOT BE A SUCCESSOR to any current hardware.

Edit: Here's a link from Gamespot to proove it CLICK HERE

One thing I noted is when he (forget his anme) was asked if this new hardware was portable or home, he said NIETHER.

What else is left?

IGN are actually highly overrated. I've stop caring for the site because all they are-are greedy bitches who just want everyone to get insider. Thank god there is a site like planet gamecube....
