Nintendo Gaming / Animal Crossing Help
« on: October 08, 2012, 07:41:21 PM »
So I recently got my wife into playing Animal Crossing City Folk with me. She's having a lot of fun which is great because I wasn't sure if she would get into it or not. The thing is I deleted my old town and now I'm depressed about it. I lost all my designs, and I even lost all the people I added to my friend list. So i've got a request. I went to a number of peoples towns on these forums, and it is possible that some of you fine people still have some of my old designs kicking around. The ones I really want back are my hockey jerseys. Especially the Steve Y Redwings and Gretsky oilers jersey as they were tough to make. If anyone at all can find it in their heart to indulge me and check out their town for my designs I would be forever in your debt. Also since we just started a new town the only fruit we have is cherries and I don't have a shovel or axe yet. So if anyone is interested in helping me out in that way I wouldn't say no either.

If you're able to help me out that would be awesome.
My new friend code is 4728-5793-4817

General Chat / 2010 NHL Playoff thread of upsets
« on: April 16, 2010, 12:24:38 AM »
Seriously, how about them series openers? You've got Ottawa beating Pittsburgh, Montreal beating Washington, Buffalo beating Boston, Colorado beats San Jose (the only one I called) and Phoenix beating Detroit. Now I'm sitting here watching Ian's Canuck's losing their grip in a 2 all game against Los Angeles. I love playoff hockey, everybody is trying so hard that anything can happen.

Come now, I want to hear predictions about who will take home Lord Stanley and arguments about whether Crosby is better than Ovechkin and blind accusations about how the Sharks will never win because Joe Thornton can't figure it out in the playoffs. I'm not completely surprised that nobody is talking about this, but come on! It's playoff hockey! It's great!

Nintendo Gaming / 1vs1 4 stock

I'm lonely. Not too many of you have appeared as registered on my friend list, and there is hardly ever anyone on. I'm looking for a solid 1 on 1 match. If you've got what it takes then meet at final destination. I'll be playing for a long time tonight so reply here if you want to get something going.

If you want to play any other type of match say the word. I just prefer 1vs1 no item duels, but i'll play anything.

NWR Forums Discord / Help Me Remember...
« on: May 03, 2007, 07:06:19 PM »
I've been something of a lurker in these forums for some time now, I actually read them quite a bit to pass time but I don't post much. However, this has been bothering me for quite some time and I could really use the help of you guys to remember this video game from my childhood. Originally, I thought that it was the 1st final fantasy because of the rpg-ish elements to the game play, but I recently borrowed FF1 off a friend and realized that it definately was not it. I remember that it was closer to an action rpg and it was for the SNES. In the first level you meet a person who joins your party whos weapon is an axe, and after the dungeon, he leaves the party and gives you the axe. This continues as you enter new areas, you meet someone, they fight with you through a dungeon then leave and give you their weapon. The weapons usually have some affect that can be used, for example the axe could cut down small trees in your way. I can't remember if their was a seperate turn based battle screen or not though. Also I remember their being a level where you go inside a tree (I was reminded of this both in OoT and Golden Sun) and an ice cave-ish level, but those are pretty standard video game settings i guess...

Well, I'm sorry if that's not a lot to go on, but it's all I really remember right now. If I remember anything else I'll be sure to post it.

Thanks in advance.

Nintendo Gaming / Characters You'd Like to See on SSBB
« on: December 06, 2006, 06:46:14 PM »
After reading the conspiracy theory thread about the level shown in the SSBB trailer I had to ask, who do you want to see on the new smash bros?

I thought the suggestion of Belmont from CV was a cool idea, might be a stretch though...
