James likes to talk about his XL unit a lot on the podcast.  We can use this tread to keep track of what we know about it or rumors we've heard.

He likes to play with it for hours.  Even on an airplane.

General Chat / Trip to NYC
« on: March 02, 2011, 08:11:34 PM »
Hello all,

I recently won some free plane tickets and decided to go to NYC since I've never been.  Anybody have any suggestions on what to do there?  I'll be there the middle of next month.  Even an idea of what type of weather to expect would be helpful.  Thanks for the suggestions.

General Chat / Rate/Review The last Album you heard
« on: August 27, 2010, 01:22:34 PM »
I saw some music threads but not a singular one that is non-genre specific.  So with hopes of expanding my/your exposure to new types of music here goes.

Last night I went and bought Ra Ra Riot's second album "The Orchard".  Ra Ra Riot is an "Indie" band that incorporates string instruments (Violins, Chellos, ect) in with their guitars and drums which gives a sound that you don't hear much.  I absolutly loved their first album "The Rhumb Line" so I had to go get this album.

So far I'm a little disappointed.  It doesn't have the energy of their first offering.  It's still a pretty good album but its better suited to music to chill out by where as their first could be listend to regardless of your mood.   Overall 7/10.  If you want to check out this band I'd recomend the "The Rhumb Line" album.

Nintendo Gaming / WarioWare DIY addiction. I need help.
« on: April 06, 2010, 02:02:12 PM »
Why do I insist on spending about 1.5hrs to make a 5 sec game about making toast?  And then going back to edit it because the music did not convey the right mood of the game or to tweek the "art" to make it better.

This game is giving me an OCD complex.

I need help...  Anyone else experiencing this?
