Title: Best revelation today was the wrist strap
Post by: 18 Days on September 14, 2006, 08:25:51 AM
Seriously. Now we'll be able to DO A BARREL ROLL! It'll be great. I'll try out swinging the remote around my arm in every game just to see how it handles it.

I had forgotten that the wrist strap was mentioned back at E3. It was nice to finally see it. This should alleviate a lot of fears of breakage due to an accidental fall or getting mad and throwing the Wii-Mote at a wall.

It was clearly seen in the 12 minute video from the UK conference.

It's kind of ugly, though. I wish they wouldn't use it in all their promo shots.

I was actually hoping it would go on the back of the hand so the Wiimote couldn't leave the hand at all.
Even with the wrist strap, I can see people letting go by accident and having the Wiimote spin and whack someone in the face.

Ugly?
It's f*cking white. And a wriststrap.
There's not exactly a lot to go wrong there.

I demand pink wrist straps.

Actually, now that I think about it...
The PSP's white wriststraps are terrible.
Some kind of patent leather bs. Absolutely horrid.

Quote Ugly?
There's nothing wrong with it. The Wiimote just looks better naked and uncluttered.
