Glad to see that he still finds the time to make games when he's not sexually harassing co-workers.

Get some of the new Sanyo Eneloop NiMH batteries with a good charger. These new NiMH batteries have negligible self discharge rates compared to other NiMH batteries thus making them suitable for usage in devices like a Wiimote or regular TV remotes. Expect to pay anywhere from $10 to $15 for a 4-pack.

What part of BEST did you not understand? The best cards have the best transfer rates/performance and thus have the price premium. If you transfer files a lot, the difference between 1MB/s and 10MB/s is significant.

Only because MJ handled his own stuff outside of the player's association umbrella.

I guess EA decided it would be cheaper to pay for exclusive name rights for five years than to compete with a $20 product.

I wouldn't mind picking this game up later after a price drop but I doubt that will happen any time soon... *looks at price tag on FFTA* Nintendo is a really greedy publisher. BTW I have the original FFI. Got the game as a gift back in 1990, on clearance from a department store. Yay lots of memories.

And that's just Japan. Other regions don't even have an officially confirmed launch date or price yet.

That's not a production problem. It's only a money "problem" in the sense that they don't want to hemorrhage any more money than they need to.

Great! A press release touting sales! Now all we need is one that apologizes for not telling us about the missing remix tracks on the GC version until the day of the release. (I decided not to buy either version because of that)

WHY WOULDN'T Sharp be making screens for other companies?

because sony makes their own lcd screens, seems kinda strange that sony would market sharp tvs as sony...

Nintendo doesn't own Sharp. Sharp makes LCD screens. They sell to anyone that wants to buy them. There's nothing unusual about that.

That's like asking why seen33 uses a subject line that pre-supposes a conclusion before asking the question.

With the PS2 (I can't remember if it was in Japan or America, I think the same thing happened in both Japan and America), the PS2 hype-machine was at incredible rocket-ship levels, and Sony said that they were going to explode onto the scene with a million units (in a single territory, not worldwide) on launch day.

Then like a week before the launch, Sony said "Oh wait, did we say a million? Sorry. We can't do a million. We'll have 500,000 (although there will be a million before Christmas). OMG! There's a shortage! Run! Get it while you can!"

Worse than that. They promised delivery of 100,000 consoles a week after launch which turned to 50,000 which then turned 25,000.

There's no way it's a. There's not a lot of that gear around. It's most likely b.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Nintendo DS multi-catridge: With 4 megs!?
« on: November 17, 2004, 11:36:23 AM »
This is news? It's been known for quite a while now that the DS would only have 4MB of buffer to store cartridge data. It's not as bad as it sounds because DS games need to be read into memory anyway before you can use it, unlike the GBA.
