Title: Holy CRAP! A New GameCube Color?

It's all in the headline folks.  And we got an actual picture!

The New GameCube Debug Kit


In the Code Warrior booth at GDC was the brand new debug kit hooked up to their development software.  The company representative didn't know the difference between this new model and the teal debug unit, but he did know they just got this one in from Nintendo.


All ready to program!


We're assuming this craptacular color (har har) isn't as popular as the old teal version.  Still, for all intents and purposes, we're dubbing this the "Sexual Chocolate Debug Unit."

Heh. That's chocolatastic.

Oh, and its 'for all intents and purposes', not 'intensive purposes'

Though, a copper-toned or brass-coated GC might be nice.

Well thats an ugly color.

Anyways, I thought Nintendo was trying to go for one color to get rid of the toy image, hence the black GC GBA Player being the only one available during launch?

Am I the only person who thinks that looks, well, classy? The deep brown reminds me of the days of old. Admitidly, days before I was born, but my point remains the same: That looks very sophisticated.

Sorry, I'm a bit tired after GDC and DICE.  Man, I mess up once, and I get creamed.

Wow, and people thought PURPLE (or Indigo or however you want to refer to it) was hard to market, imagine if Nintendo had debuted with that.

Could it be someone who worked at Code Warrior just didn't go for the Teal and gave ColorConsoles.com a ring? Then again, the paint job looks a little too regular for that, I guess.

Yeah I know, attending gaming press shows and displays can be such a drag

I love the coverage over the last couple weeks, btw. It's been great!

Ehhh...not a color that I'd buy. But I'm sure there's some people that would buy it. I'm just happy with platinum.

And PGC-Agent Cooper, you guys have been doing a great job on GDC and DICE coverage.

Hey thanks for the props.  We still have lots of coverage still coming....so stay tuned.  Gaming conventions tiring?  They are when you get the coverage we do
