RE:  Train segment in Yoshi demo

There's an egg block right next to the train station.  If you boarded the train with anything less than full eggs you have no one to blame but yourself.

Towards the end, when Greg announces the ending music, the topic of Muscle March is brought up. I believe Jon cracked that joke.

Muscle March is the gift that keeps on giving

On the podcast James mentioned an interview about how Nintendo hacked the original Zelda and then watched current "experienced" gamers play and subsequently fail at it.  Can we get a link?

Unless I'm mistaken, Mother 2 was never released on the Wii VC in Japan.

This would make the Wii U release the first re-release since Mother 1 + 2 for GBA came out back in 2003.  If the only reason that game never made it to the US was because of low projected sales / NOA's desire to kill the GBA then this means there's at least still hope that Earthbound might come out someday in the future.

I'm warning you both for wasting my time.

Maybe this is old news, but why are the B, 1, 2, + and - buttons white instead of gold?  The remote's hideous!

WTF

I would ask who dropped the ball on this thread, but it seems every staff member at NWR has already posted in this thread.  Don't you people have video games to bitch about?

Re:  Muscle March

It's the gift that keeps on giving!  Best 1200 Wii Points I ever spent.   ;D

Seriously, Greg, you didn't have to go through everything you did just to make me happy--but I'm glad you did.  More proof--if as it were needed--that RFN is the best gaming podcast on the Internet.

Fun fact:  James didn't respond to my PMs regarding Muscle March so I didn't gift the game to him.  He either faked his way through the segment or he spent his own money on the game.

Did anyone else get some random coins recently from old games recently?  I got 10 coins on May 18 for Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time.  I registered this game on My Nintendo back in 2005 before Club Nintendo even existed.  No explanation was given for why the points suddenly appeared.

Did this happen to anyone else?  Click See Details under your current coin balance on the main page and then expand the section for 2010/2011 history and scroll to the bottom.

General Chat / Re: Chrome vs. Firefox
« on: May 15, 2011, 11:55:48 AM »
Anytime Chrome closes for me, whether intentionally or due to crash, it either automatically opens all the tabs I had or asks me if I want to open them. Recently I accidentally closed my browser window, but when I opened a new one, the first option on the list of sites I'd recently visited was XX Tabs (it was the number of them, I just don't remember the specific one), and when I clicked that it opened everything back up to the way I had it.

That's the way it is for me when I manually close Chrome.  But if Windows restarts itself then I don't have that option.  :(

Is there an extension for Chrome that will allow me to reopen tabs I had open before my computer restarts itself?  My work PC is set to automatically download and install Windows updates and I can't turn that "feature" off.  I means that once or twice a month I wake up to find that I've lost all the tabs I had been saving for a rainy day.  I tend to keep a lot of tabs open for stuff I plan to read later but don't have time for at the moment.

Also, this is probably neither the time nor the place, but is there a reason the email telling me somebody reported something for moderation doesn't have the reported post in it? I got UncleBob's report, but I didn't have time to check the forums and wanted to know what he was complaining about.

This is the message I got:

Quote
The following post, "Holy ****, Osama Bin Laden is dead!" by Brandogg has been reported by UncleBob on a board you moderate:

The topic: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=34250.msg670392#msg670392
Moderation center: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?action=moderate;area=reports;report=494

The reporter has made the following comment:
I'm voting to go ahead and lock this thread down.  I'm reluctant to do so, because my own personal opinions on the subject may be influencing my decision.

Regards,
The Nintendo World Report Forums Team.

Did you get something different?

****, am I the only mod who does his job around here?

I'll lock this up with an amusing anecdote:  I learned of Bin Laden's death while browsing Jam Graph during breakfast.  After seeing two nonsensical charts about him I deduced something went down recently and hopped onto Google News.  Guess I need to rearrange the order of my RSS Feed.   :Q

I've never even heard of Journey to Silius before, but I guessed the answer to the hint question before it was even asked.  ;D  The first song sounds a lot like the music from Terminator 2.

Holy crap. I've never gone 0 and 5 before, but I guess there's a first time for everything!

My good man, you went oh for five a mere two episodes ago ...

Wow, 0 for 5 this week. I suck!

Should be able to.

Then I'm in!  I just wanted to make sure it wasn't one of those wacky games with points and items to purchase and 19 different roles each with 4 sets of rules.

24
I haven't read the rules--will I be able to figure out how to play?

FF IV for GBA is a pretty good port.  The only real problem with it is there'a  bug that sometimes lets characters (both yours and enemies) attack twice in a row without any wait time.  It's not game breaking, but it can be annoying.

If you have any problems with the copy of the game you bought let know because I have a complete copy I'd be willing to part with.  ;)
