Story post. The best is yet to come.

Spoilers: It involves space. Also, Lobo. And the mysterious figure.

Death Results. *Now with minor story tidbits!*

ShyGuy was killed by the Joker. He was Lobo, member of the Space Mafia.

Jrlibrarian was not killed by vote. He was about to be lynched, but as the Flash, he outsped the mob looking to hang him, even as they cornered him into the dead-end of an alley in Central City. As the mob of super heroes was about to grab him, he vibrated through a solid wall. At that point, the hunt was called off, and jrlibrarian was spared his life. Questions surrounding the flash will now have to wait a little bit longer to be answered.In layman's terms, we won't be explaining why jrlibrarian didn't die.

The Unagi was killed by the Earth Mafia. He was a townie.

The shop is now open.

The Red Ring was purchased for 12 points.
The Indigo Ring was purchased for 8 points.

I lied, today is a Blue Ring and a White Ring, no Indigo Rings involved.

Blue Ring -- Upon use, the player's vote counts as three votes that day, but his or her vote will be worthless on the day that follows.

White Ring -- Brings one player of the winner's choosing back to life. This item can be used any time after it was purchased so long as the person who holds the item is alive. A player may not hold onto the item and try to use it after their own death. It is only for the revival of others. When the White Ring is used, an announcement will be made about the revival of the formerly dead player.

Sundoulos won yesterday's roleplay award.

Everything about points earning remains the same as it was the day before. The shop is now open.

Fine, fine. Day 4.

I'm going to open up the thread now. Point totals will go out a little later than normal today, which means something like probably 2:30 AM EST. The shop won't be open until everyone has his or her points. Auctioned items will be sent out at the same time as players receive their points, and the purchase amounts will be publicized afterward.

Well, I see my plan satisfied the Joker. For anyone who's curious, these are the five people who did not pay back my point:

They must all be the Joker. Or not.

With that said, whomever the Joker is, he seems to be pretty active - he's figured out two different mafia members - and one was a Godfather. Who have y'all been PM'ing so much?

On an interesting note, I told someone who reached out to me over PM yesterday that I thought ShyGuy was mafia. Then, he gets killed by the Joker. Weird.

ShyGuy told me who he thinks is the Joker (and that person is still alive), I do think he may be right. I am wary about voting for that person yet, I am still looking for clues.

Whats up with the constant wanna be pals?

I think the big downfall of this game is that not everyone is consistantly playing. Vudu is absent, Golden Phoenix jumps in long enough to vote, but no banter or giving theories. Stevey has said a little more, but not much. Stratos hasn't done a heck of alot. Uncle Bob has been obsessed with Joker points. The good thing is that there is only 3 mafia left and Joker, leaving 7 townies. We can take the game.

She's done 3 posts on the game. One to assure us she's here after a 12 hour work day, and then a vote on day 2 and day 3. I say she's trying to keep a low profile.

While I think the Joker is someone who needs to be taken out ASAP (even more so since the message he sent me stated that I'd be allowed to live though the night... he didn't specify anything beyond that), I'm not sure the head of the Space Mafia is exactly someone who is trustworthy when it comes to this...

Curious though - yesterday was a tight race between vudu and Jr. It swung towards JR at the last second - and he turned out to be a good guy. Does this not seem to imply something about his opponent in that race?
