Certain posters never would have known about this if it hadn't been posted here because they're not planning to buy the game anyway.  I think Mike is trying to entice a few of those skeptics.  That's very different from posting a spoiler for Twighlight Princess, which 80% of us are guaranteed to buy.  I don't like spoilers either, but this is a pretty piddly one for a game that a lot of people didn't care about anyway.
