I'm coming out of lurk-mode to refute JJ's assertion that nobody listening to the podcast played Ys on the TG16 when it was released.  I'm almost as old as Lindy so in 1989 I was 15 years old and had a job washing dishes at a local restaurant which allowed me to save up the money to buy a TG16 CD and Ys.

If Sing Party works with any USB mic, why couldn't they sell it on the eShop?
As long as they put a huge disclaimer beforehand "REQUIRES MICROPHONE (SOLD SEPARATELY) PROCEED WITH PURCHASE?" then I can't see it being a problem.

Is there a reason why Sing Party doesn't just use the built-in mic on the Wii U GamePad?

Amazon has a release date of 11/13/12.

It looks like they changed the Wii U version release date to December 31, 2012.

I took the liberty of creating a league just in case people wanted to join in, and to have that as a possible talking point on the podcast? A little bit late, but still.

I joined the league shortly after it was created but I didn't see any other members as of earlier today.

I enjoy the online challenges but I've noticed that it's basically impossible to compete for the top times unless you've unlocked the best vehicle for each particular challenge.
