Actually, Capcom specifically asked for this. In fact, they cited constant interest and fan action on THEIR forums as one of their inspirations to bring Okami to the Wii. They said that even up 'till the week they announced Okami, the people on their forums were posting fan fake box arts and everything for the Wii.

That said, I hope that the people over at Capcom forums are clamoring for Bionic Commando Wii as much as the rest of us are. That's probably the first place that Capcom will look to see if theirs fan support instead of crawling over the internet. So I'd think that the best way to get this going is to funnel all that internet excitement and furor and eagerness and energy somehow so that Capcom sees it. They've definitely asked for fan involvement in showing interest, now we have to get it such that they notice it and can't ignore it anymore.

You know what would be ironic? If all three versions of the game suck big time. I mean, after all the demanding and screaming everyone did the game turns out to be completely crappy.

We should all ignore Bionic Commando and Petition for RE5 instead, it would be a win win situation for us all.
Capcom doesn't have to waste precious resources porting a game we won't buy and they can instead bring us a game that we will.

They are in the minority, and must sacrifice for the greater good, which is RE5.
Bionic Commando has a 35% chance of being fun and a 15% chance of being memorable.
RE5 on the other hand will be a direct sequel to RE4 with Wiimote capabilities.
If you had to place a bet, where would you slide all your chips on a one chance shot?

Ahahahaha, so hey, Capcom has announced a SECOND Bionic Commando game for PS3/360. This time it's a PSN/XBLA download. A 2.5D REMAKE OF THE NES GAME. Capcom must have been laughing themselves stupid when they lied about a Wii game happening if the fans want it.

Did they confirm it was a remake of the NES game? Last I heard we just knew it was a remake "of the original" which means the source material could be from the arcade or the NES version.

No. Not until I hear it delayed for another 2 years and go thru 3-4 iterations like RE4 did.

Get rid of Chris.

Pick a new setting.

Provide a visual style concept that doesn't involve blatant targetting to the hawdcawe ps3/360 audience. Enough with the super-grimey-gritty bullsh!t. The series creator is gone, and all they do is copy the dominant styles in the PC FPS genre? Just cancel the game come up with a new franchise.

That's not true--there was that one part in the second chapter where you could choose to either take the left path and fight a horde of angry villagers or the right path and fight an El Giante. It doesn't matter that everyone always double-backed and fought both.

Why don't they just, I don't know, MAKE IT USE THE CLASSIC CONTROLLER?! F*CK! Can't anyone besides the Guitar Hero guys talk about Wii development without saying something incredibly f*cking stupid? The Wii is like some weird retardo field where logic disappears and stupid game design reigns supreme.

How to design a third party Wii game:
Either...
A. Make up an excuse to not release the game on the Wii at all despite the biggest market share.
or
B. Make it suck. Suggestions include porting from a last-gen console, waggle controls, making a spin-off know one ever asked for (CASTLEVANIA FIGHTING GAME!!), dumbing everything down, and/or just plain making crap.

Pointer aiming would have been pretty good actually.

I know it sounds kinda waggle-ish but point with the Wiimote and then flick the nunchuck to swing would have worked well i think.

Don't fancy flicking with the same thing I'm pointing with because it might throw my aim off.
