Wow. It has actually been three days and a year since we last played a Safe Words game. During that time, so many people stepped up to host another one.
Clearly, NWR User's can't get enough of this high-stakes game.
Well, you can finally quit your jonesin', as I've got your Safe Words fix right here. For this game, I've decided to return to a theme I rather enjoyed when it was played last. Can't imagine what it was like for the players since I hardly get the opportunity to play my own creation so this will just have to give me the revenge I crave on all of you lazy non-hosting "friends" of mine.
If you'll recall from the first time, it was all about making big, bold statements and hoping that the irony wouldn't come back to bite you for your choice. Let's see who among you can actually back up their big talk this game and pull off a win. If it ends up being Insanolord, you are all going to pay if I ended up pulling this game out of retirement for only for such a doomsday scenario to unfold.
Sign-ups will run until Aug. 15 although if we somehow miraculously get 14 people signed up before that date then I'll end them at that point since going through a rotation of that many people will probably be as slow as this game can be during those opening rounds.
The following Brave Forum Heroes have signed up so far:
Insanolord
BeautifulShy
Mop it up
Nickmitch
Stratos
ShyGuy
Steefosaurus
Lucario
A grand total of
8!
Perhaps you are one of the users on this forum who haven't played a Safe Words game or don't know how it works. Perhaps you are too shy to ask your physician for help to understand the game. Well, today is your lucky day as I now take a moment to explain this game in a simple post.
HOW TO PLAY
OVERLY SIMPLE VERSION: It is like Russian Roulette. After sign-ups are closed, the players are randomly assorted into a selection rotation. But what are they selecting? There is a list of phrases. One of those phrases is like the bullet in a gun used for Russian Roulette. If you select that phrase when it is your turn to choose from the list of phrases, then you lose. The bullet phrase is removed from the list and a new phrase is selected from the list to act as the bullet for the next round. Players then select phrases again until someone is eliminated. This process is repeated until only one person remains and is declared the winner. Think you have what it takes to choose the safe words and avoid the unsafe words? Then sign-up and find out.
