SUPER G'N'G!!
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Luigi's Mansion.
I kind of want to go back and play it.
And Metroid II would be a pain to obtain legally...

Shame on your for not already owning a copy.

I actually played through Metroid II a couple of years ago.  It's still a fun game, but the lack of a map is really painful.  It's also deceptively linear (if you can figure out where you're supposed to go next).

I see it goes for $12-20 on eBay so I wouldn't think it would be that hard to find.

I always wanted a copy of that.  I wanted to buy it new, which is impossible nowadays.

I just feel stupid for never buying Metroid II whenever I saw it on flea markets and stuff.
Although I haven't seen it in years, which sucks because now I have more money to burn.

I'd love to play Metroid II, but i don't have a working Gameboy anymore.  The screen bit the dust some time ago.  :(

Luigi's Mansion for me.

You can play Metroid II on a GBC, GBA, or SP... and I can't remember about Micro.  I bought my copy for about $15 (Player's Choice edition) in late 1998, because the GB Color was my first handheld system.  Technologically, it is a remarkable feat.  It's also an interesting "missing link" between Metroid and Super Metroid.

Although I respect Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, it is not a game I want to play again.  I'm also not keen to pay $8 for a game in which I probably can't beat the first level.

Not micro, but you can play it on the Game Boy Player as well. :)

I voted for Metroid II just because no one else had yet, and I nominated it.  But any of these choices would be great.  I got SF Adventures in the mail yesterday, so I'll have that ready to go if we ever decide to do that game.

I will selfishly request Metroid II since I bought it recently at Gamestop during their GB/GBC clearance sale. Can't go wrong with Metroid II for a dollar ;)

Quick note: the runner-up in voting will automatically be included in the next poll.  The rest will rotate out but could come back eventually in a future poll.

You can't stop G'N'G!!

Seriously though, why are GCN and GBA games even included in this list?  They're barely retro.

They were released over a year ago, and that's enough for me.  The feature is not as retro-focused as its name implies.

Ugh, I hope people aren't voting for SGnG just so they can hear the crew complain about it. If so, that's not cool, guys. We shouldn't start off this feature with such a mean-spirited attitude.

C'mon guys! I want to play as fraidy-cat Luigi!
Was SGnG the one where you had to beat it twice to actually beat it? A friend of mine wasted good life playing that game to completion.
