The level creator is really intimidating. I'm going to need to plan out my levels before I even attempt to make one. I'm waiting until the final game is out, just so I can collect all the items in the single player and work more on my ideas.

Is there a good chance it'll come stateside?

Based on the PSP games, don't get excited.

To be fair, the 360 D-pad blows.

I'd rather just have them on VC personally.

It's too bad Samba and Nights aren't exactly high quality games.

I enjoyed DQ8 in spite of the grinding. I had only played 1&2 on GBC before.

This sounds like a DQ8 wannabe without the interesting world and characters.

Well DQIV came out over 10 years before DQVIII...

I'm surprised you say it requires heavy grinding. A user at NeoGAF advocates that no grinding is necessary. I don't mind grinding personally; I've played plenty of RPGs, I'm use to it.

Wouldn't that make it even harder?

Holy crap is the ending INSANE! It's like a really awful fanfic, so bad it made me laugh.  :D

Overall I'm glad I played it, even though the story went off the deep end at the end. I can't wait to play Heavy Rain.

I need some tips on the second base flashback before I rip my eyes out in frustration.

Edit: Just beat it, man that part sucks.

After the huge disappointment Radiant Dawn was (for me at least), I really hope this turns out great. I loved the first Fire Emblem that came stateside and Path of Radiance.

The 360 version is too hardcore for my liking; I'm willing to take a hit in graphics for it to be more accessible.

I did not enjoy the time limit of the original Pikmin; I couldn't take the pressure. I've been told Pikmin 2 gets rid of that and makes improvements.

Yay I've always wanted to play Pikmin 2.  ;D It's so rare and expensive now. Wii-controls could make it easier to play too.

I think my problem is after playing so many platformers, the floaty jump and imprecise controls just feel wrong to me. I can see why Pale says they fit the game, but with how complicated you can make the platforming, I don't like struggling at parts that I wouldn't be in any other platformer.

There might be physics tweaking the future, who knows. The problem with that is that could result in a lot of broken games. I'd love to see some Galaxy-esque gravity levels though.

Good to hear you feel the same way I do D_Average. Problems aside, this game has a lot too offer.

It lives! ;D Length aside, looking forward to listening. I expect 117 and 118 to be excellent episodes.

I got mine through 1up. My biggest gripe with the game is the controls; they're floaty, imprecise and take time to get use to. The worst thing is the transition between the 3D plains; it doesn't always work the way it should.

I hope to try out the level editor this weekend.

What's you're favorite song to play so far John? I play drums and I'd have to say my favorite is Livin' on a Prayer.

A lot of the player made levels I've played can be easily broken, but I've also played a lot of really funny creative ones. The thing everyone here should remember; people are just scratching the surface of what can be done and Media Molecule plans on supporting it after release. The level editor is very complicated and will take some time for people to master. Once people do though, there will be endless fun to explore.
