What microSD card do you recommend getting for the Switch?
« on: March 11, 2017, 06:54:25 PM »
Obviously the included storage on the Switch itself won't be enough in the long term, maybe not even the short term with all of the interesting digital-only games coming out.

My question is what MicroSD card would serve me best? We do physical retail releases whenever possible, but I do have to do digital any other time, especially for publisher-sent review codes.

What's the best value for a working and reliable MicroSD card? Thanks, all!

This looks like it would be good for the Switch, as I plan on going fully physical when possible.

What do you all think?

Resurrecting this thread. Wondering what people are using.
I'm looking at getting this one:
link
Seems like it's, I don't know, almost too cheap to be legit. Reviews are good but they are also very recent.

Sandisk is the most reputable brand in the business, though if you can get that card direct from Amazon (instead of being fulfilled by them only) you'll have a bit more protection.

That link, as of today, now says shipped and sold by Amazon, so I think I will bite. I think yesterday it was "fulfillment by Amazon" only. Weird.
I hope 64GB is enough. I wasn't planning on buying the big retail games digitally this go-around (unlike Wii U). But I downloaded Snake Pass yesterday and it's already 4GB+. Yikes!
