So the Netflix Marvel shows will be coming to Disney+ ... in Canada. In the United States there is no info. Speculation is they will arrive on Hulu.

Official Trailer | She-Hulk: Attorney at Law | Disney+

Normally, I’m all 🤷‍♀️ about Rule 63 superheroes especially Hulk/She-Hulk because the contrast between male and female versions is peak Comic Are Extra® (i.e. the female counterpart of the giant rage monster is still comics-sexy). However, the trailer was fun.

I appreciate the Emil Blonsky cameo and the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it look at Jameela Jamil’s Titania. I’m glad Marvel chose not to show Matt Murdock and hope it doesn’t in any trailer. I don’t think Charlie Cox has been officially announced. After Spider-Man: No Way Home, come on…

I’ve seen people dunk on the CGI. Personally, it looks good for a TV show.

This is a common complaint of most of the MCU TV CGI. I think it is partly people used to the MCU films overall having superior CGI so its kind of jarring. But some CGI has been bad by TV standards but I didn't feel that in She Hulk. Moon Knight had worse CGI.

These shows have movie budgets though, so what i think the issue actually is, is time.

I've seen examples of the CG being updated or scenes being edited after the initial release.

Don't be surprised if you go back to Moon Knight 3 months from now, and things have been spruced up a bit in a couple scenes.

Agree, time is their worst enemy. You would think that they would have learned this lesson back when Black Panther was criticized for poor CGI in the final fight scenes. Or even Pirates of the Caribbean 2/3 where they talked about all of the insane overtimes and extra crunch animators did to make their timelines. True they can go back after the fact but reviewers don't generally change their scores and I'm not sure touch ups would make much of a difference in the long run.

On one hand some of the projects are exciting, but some others just aren't as thrilling as I had expected. I think I genuinely am getting MCU fatigue. Maybe it was because of the combo of shows and films, or just the volume in general, or the aimlessness of Phase 4. Also seems like phases have sped up? Is a phase about a year now? I thought a phase was supposed to be much longer. Also the length of time before a proper Avengers film seems odd. I understand letting some time and story build up, but why not have middle Avengers films like we did before?

I don't envy the position Ryan Coogler is in. It's in a similar position that JJ Abrams was in following The Last Jedi. I hope it's really good and he doesn't get a lot of backlash and hate when it comes out because this show must move on.

The previous portion leading up to Endgame was The Infinity Saga

We are now in the Multiverse Saga, of which Loki, WandaVision, Spider-Man: NWH, and Doctor Strange: MoM have all directly interacted with.

The phases are shorter mostly because we don't have to wait for all the movies to expand the plot and characters leading up to the next big event. It may seem a little aimless, but this is the breather period where a bunch of new pieces are being added to the board, and thanks to D+, their being added very quickly.

Off the top of my head, for those that haven't kept up with the shows, tons of new characters and their current situations include:

From Loki:
Female (and many other) Loki,
Kang (variant xx1 aka The One Who Remains)
the unleashing of the "Multiverse" with the death of Kang

From WandaVision:
Monica Rambeau aka Spectrum
Agatha Harnkess
White Vision
Wanda's Kids
Wanda's dip into the Darkhold

From Falcon and the Winter Soldier:
New Super Soldier that's Not Captain America
Falcon is NOW the new Captain America
The Original Super Soldier and his son
and the new Falcon

Hawkeye:
Kate Bishop
Echo
Kingpin
The Sword Master

From Moonknight:
Moon Knight (and his multiple personalities)
Konshu (and other Egyption Gods + the Afterlife)

Ms Marvel:
Ms Marvel, her genetic makeup, and her setup for The Marvels
the other guy with powers from "The Noor"
the other Dimension "The Noor"

What If!?
- First appearances of Supreme Strange, Zombies, Captain Carter, and others....

Upcoming on She Hulk:
She Hulk
Titania
Daredevil in Costume
countless other cameos (Wrecking Crew, Frogman, and potentially Johnny Blaze?)

Can't say every moment of every show has been amazing, or even entertaining, but I can see how fatigue may be setting in... in part because of the frequency of the content, but more so because the quality. Although She-Hulk looks to hopefully be the funnest of them so far.

Yeah its just getting to be a lot with the drop in consistency and quality. I adored No Way Home, liked Moon Knight, What If was fun, and Dr Strange was mostly enjoyable. Its more the bait-and-switches that have put me off (Quick Silver tease in WandaVision).

She Hulk does look like fun, but I'm just going to be a little more selective about which shows I go out of my way to see or worry about potential spoilers.

We are not in the Multiverse Saga, of which Loki, WandaVision, Spider-Man: NWH, and Doctor Strange: MoM have all directly interacted with.

How is this not part of Phase 4/Multiverse Saga? 1-3 was Infinity, 4-6 are Multiverse from what I read from the latest reveal.

The phases are definitely shorter and no longer punctuated with Avengers movies. I do think that Thunderbolts will be the "Avengers" of Phase 5, but not having a team-up movie in Phase 4 feels weird. It seems like this would've been the place for Thunderbolts with maybe a Young Avengers movie at the end of Phase 5. I think it feels directionless because there isn't really a team just yet, and it's unclear who will put that team together and why with everyone off doing their own thing.

Valentina was recruiting for the Thunderbolts.

Wong keeps showing up to recruit for.... Something.

Black Panther: WF is the big "event" movie of this phase, and if the rumored cameo at the end will definitely get all the fans attention if true, and also gives a clues towards the likely Avengers: Secret War villain.

BP:WF just seems like more transition/setup than a culmination film. It seems like it'll be introducing a number of characters to set up for Phase 5, but I don't know if that's a big "event" film. Nothing within this phase has really built towards anything we've seen of BP:WF. It feels more like Multiverse of Madness was the "event" film of this phase and BP is more of the Ant-man role, though to a bigger degree.

Valentina was recruiting for the Thunderbolts.

I meant more for the hero's side, but I agree that's what she's doing. I thought it was more Dark Avengers, but it seems like MCU will mix the two a bit. I wonder if she's working for or with Ross on that or how they'll bring him in and if they'll do Red Hulk.

I haven't seen Shang-Chi yet, but I know Wong was in it. It makes more sense for him to be recruiting more for the mystical side of the MCU than the Avengers side. I think by the end of Cap4, Sam and Strange will likely be on the recruiting mission.

Secret Invasion Trailer Released

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZVTkn2NjS0

Looks good. Spy thriller. Dark in tone. Skrulls. Emelia Clarke. Samuel L Jackson.... what more could I ask for?

edit: well I could ask for more trailers....

Werewolf By Night just got a Trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLEFqhS5WmI

Black & White.... campy, pulp horror setting and MAN-THING has made an appearance!!?
this is certainly a very experimental project from Marvel Studios.

and it's Marvel's D23 Day... so why not drop some more info?

Thunderbolts lineup has been revealed as well!!

Val, Ghost, Red Guardian, Yelena, Bucky, US Agent, and Taskmaster....

I have to say, Taskmaster looks more "male" now than before.
and this isn't the line up I was thinking of... no Abomination and no Zemo is surprising.
and the only one of them with actual powers is Ghost.
3 of them are Super Soldiers... having enhanced strength and speed.
and 2 of them are Widows.... assuming Taskmaster is still female.

and here's another unexpected reveal...

An Incredible Hulk callback.....

I wonder if this connects to She-Hulk and a current side plot?

and the Original Super-Soldier - Isiaah Bradley- is back too
