So to preface this I want to get the community gaming together to help bring more activity to the forum and excitement here.

I have been playing various SWE with her in co-op since 2021 and I want to get that going here forhere again when the Wii era on the forums were at the height of activity.

So I am going to start the NWR SNES Expansion Online Revitalize Initiative.

So lets get to the games!!!

Here are the remaining alive players and their roles.

Mop it up- Alexia Ashford
Order.RSS was recruited by Mop it up on Day 0
Stratos started the game as a townie and was recruited on Night 4 to the Ashford Mafia
TOPHATANT123 was Claire Redfield the investigator
Luigi Dude was Steve Burnside the doctor.
lolmonade was a normal townie. 


The game could have been extended if lolmonade was voted out as a majority would have been created and the Ashford mafia wouldn't have the numbers and maybe stevey would have used a role block on TOPHATANT123 or Luigi Dude while using a hit on one of the Ashford Mafia.

 Maybe Order.RSS or Stratos and then with the Neighborize/hit night there could have been a vote out of Mop it up in the next two days or maybe the vote goes towards lolmonade and it would be 2 townies, 1 OM and 2 Ashford mafia.  Would have possibly go down to a Mexican Standoff and night actions would have decided the game.

Last time on Rockford Island....


Claire Redfield and Steve Burnside were able to escape the island with a few different folks and with the future ahead.   

However, what was unknown to Claire and Steve is that Rockford island while being destroyed did have a secondary island where all sorts of experiements were done and was essentually a replica of Rockford island down to the littlest details.   

After some time with Chris Redfield, Clare learned about this second island and made a vow to herself to make sure there would be an end to everything that has to do with the remains of Rockford island or rather just The Island.

Claire takes Steve Burnside, the scientists and any other survivors back to the island to uncover what remains and what will be uncovered.


Notes for today's game day


The day will run for 48 hours so the day will close at Sunday 9 am PST.     There will be a Majority vote.  With 13 players alive, the majority vote will be 7 votes on one player and held for 1 hour.


After that there will be a 24 hour night action period.   I can start the next day sooner if I get all actions in and confirmation that you want to keep that action for the night.  You can change your action if you want to if I have not received all the actions within that 24 hour period.

Speaking of night actions if you were sent a separate PM than that mass PM I sent to everyone then you have a role.  If you did not receive an extra PM then you are a townie.

Clare Redfield can message me on here or on Discord your investigation or decide to save your investigation to use the following day.  You can save as many investigations as you want and you can use however the amount of those saved investigations you wish. So if you have 3 saved investigations you can use two of them and have left over till the next night where you have 2 for that night.

Steve Burnside can message me any protection orders during the night be it self protection and/or protecting another player.   Steve can self protect and someone else during the same night.

Sherry Burkin has the ability to send me a message of something they want to tell the thread. Sherry can also save a message to use two the following day.

Albert Wesker can message me their Mafia hit via the forums or on discord .  You can change your hit leading up to the 24 hour night period. 

Osmond Sadler can role block someone of their choosing alongside Weskers mafia hit.

Also note that if one of the Mafia teams are gone from the game then the remaining Mafia will have control of the Hits/neighborization for the rest of the game.

Rules

How to play Mafia

If you are on the townie side your goal is to vote out both mafias and make sure you live to the best of your abilities so you can win on the townie side.

if you are on the mafia side you need to eliminate the other Mafia and have equal or less townies to win the game.

How do I vote

You can vote by bolding vote and a player's name and that will be your vote.  You can change your vote by editing your previous vote and either unvoting like so unvote BeautifulShy or using the strike through on your vote.

[s ] vote players name [ /s] minus the spaces.  You will need to make a new post with your new vote in it to show all players a voting record.

What is a Mafia Hit?

A mafia hit is an action during the night to take out one player if not protected.  There are two mafias so it will be alternating hits. Alexia Ashford will be able to Neighborize on even Days.   I will have a Day 0 so she will be able to recruit one player before I send out other roles. Albert Wesker will be able to use the Mafia Hit on odd nights.
Alexia will get Night 2 and so on from there.


What happens in the event of a tie?

In the event there is a tie and the day is over then I will have a 30 minute period to break the tie.  Anyone can break the tie.  Be it someone unvoting for one of the players in a tie or someone who hasn't voted yet and then deciding to vote for one of the players in the tie. I will keep the 30 minute period going for that whole time and I will go with whoever has the most votes at the end.  If for whatever reason there is a tie still after the 30 minute period then I will randomly choose someone alive and kill them.




The day period will run for 48 hours or until a majority is reached and is held for at least a hour. The night action period, in which certain roles may submit their night actions will last for 24 hours after the end of day period. After those 24 hours have passed the next day will begin.  I will start the next day earlier if I get every action in and get confirmation that they don't want to change their night actions before the 24 hours are up.

Typically for my games I have a voting requirement but because of a certain role people can vote as much or as little as you like. It is up to the players to call out this sort of behavior and do something about it.

As there is two Mafia teams the two Mafia will alternate Night actions. The Organization Mafia will get odd game days to send in their actions. The Ashford Mafia will use their actions on even game days.

To win this game the Townies have to survive both Mafia and have at lease 1 player still alive to win.
 The Organization will need to destroy the Ashford Mafia of all of its members and have an equal or more members of the Mafia to townie players.

The Ashford Mafia will need to destroy the Organization Mafia of all of its members. They will also need to have equal or more members to the remaining townie players.

In the event one Mafia team dies the remaining Mafia team will be able to use their actions each day.


Roles of the game

Townie Roles


Claire Redfield- Investigator

Claire will be able to search one player each night if she so chooses.  She also has the option to save the investigation at night.   She is able to be Neighborized and if that happens she will still be able to use her investigations.  She can be protected from Neighborization if Steve Burnside protects her the night of her neighborization.  Oh also if Claire searches someone on Night 1 and then later on in the game that player gets neighborized she will not get updated info right away and she will have to use her investigation to research that player.  This is why she is able to save investigations for later.  It will be a balance.

Steve Burnside- Doctor

Steve will be able to have two self protections and will be able to protect someone else. So he can self protect and protect someone else during the same night.  He will be able to be neighborized and will join Alexia Ashford and have the protection powers still but once he has become neighborized any self protections will go away and only able to protect other players.

Sherry Burkin- Townie Encriptor

Sherry Burkin will be able to use their encryptor power by sending me a PM on the forums or Discord message detailing what they want me to say for them.  They will have 1 a day or they can save messages and so the next day they would be able to have two messages to the group of players.   This player cannot be neighborized.  Voting out or The Organization hit will be the only way to get rid of this player.

Mafia Roles


The Ashford Mafia

On Day 0 she will be able to select one player to Neighborize. Then I will send out the rest of the roles.

Alexia has the power of Neighborizer which makes it so she is able to recruit 1 player that she chooses.  It will be percentage based so 50% if she is successful or not.  If she Neighborizes Claire or Steve she will be able to use their powers but in doing so she cannot neighborize another player during the night she uses their powers.    She will start as a team onto herself and will need to gain new members.  She will be able to neighborize on even days.   

The Organization Mafia


Albert Wesker-Godfather

Wesker will be able to send in hits on odd days and will be able to remove one player out of the game.  If investigated he will show up as a normal townie. Wesker can be neighborized

Mafia Role Blocker- Osmond Sadler

This is the standard Role blocker role in games.  Osmond will be able to use this alongside any Mafia Hits that Wesker uses and can be a deterrent if Alexia Ashford neighborizes either Steve or Claire.  Sadler cannot be nighborized but he can be voted out of the game. If investigated he will show up as the Mafia Roleblocker to Claire


Mafia Goons-  There will be 1 of these and they have no powers.  They can be neighborized.  They will show up as Mafia Goons.


Mafia Succession

For the Ashford Mafia the way succession works is if Alexia dies then she will be able to message me who from the recruited will be the new leader.   If Alexia neighborizes Claire and selects her she will be able to do normal Mafia hits or she will be able to use an investigation on even nights.   

If Steve is neighborized and selected then he will be able to do a Mafia Hit or protect another Neighborized player.  If Steve is all alone  in the Mafia then he will be able to self protect at least two times before not being able to self protect and being able to be taken out.  If alone then he can still use the Mafia hit.

If a Mafia Goon or a townie is neighborized and selected to be the successor then they will only have the Mafia Hit for the Alexia Mafia.

Okay so no news is good news for signups. 

I can go forward with the signups.

The signups will last until I get 15 players.

Similar rule set as last game but some tweaks which I will detail when I have more time in the next few days.  I will edit the next post with the role tweaks and roles for the game.  But for this post I will detail the typical rules for the game.

How to play Mafia

If you are on the townie side you want to vote out the Mafia.

If you are Mafia you want to vote out the townie side.


How do I vote?

Each day I will put up the day thread and everyone will decide on who is Mafia and then vote for them. Simply type in bold for who you want to vote for for example Vote BeautifulShy.   The vote is mainly used to vote out who one thinks is on the Mafia side.

If you want to change your vote then you must unbold your previous vote and make a new post while keeping your previous vote visable. un-vote BeautifulShy  or Vote BeautifulShy will work; and then make a new post with your new vote.

What is a Mafia hit?

The Mafia gets to attack 1 person each night with a kill action or neighborize action. To start Albert Wesker will start with the Mafia actions on odd days and then on even days Alexia Ashford will use her neighborize actions.

Nintendo Gaming / Previous console generations to the Switch: Which games make the most sense?

With the news recently that the 3DS and Wii U eshops will be shutting down fully next year it got me thinking to the previous consoles of 3DS and Wii U.  Namely the Wii and Gamecube which would be a ideal fit for a remaster/Remake or a optimised Switch game in some different controls from the GCN and Wii consoles.


Inspiration for this topic was from this video by Player Essence on youtube but I will be adding my personal selections not listed in the video below.

Now for my personal list because at the time I wanted to have games which were unique and in the left field and
this dates back to the GCN era with titles like Samba De Aimgo Wii, Odama, Mushroom Men:Spore Wars and Nights: Journey into Dreams.

Here is my list and how they could work on the Switch.


ExciteBots: Trick Racing

I picture a similar game but with some tweaks to the game with HD Rumble when you go for huge leaps on the course but it would be counter balanced by other racers crashing into you or racers getting higher altitude than you and leap frogging you so it will be a balance of if you want to stay on the ground and just going as fast as you can to the max or making strategic leaps and enjoying the distance and break from the racers below you.

Items will play a part as well in that there will be two types of items.  One with Amibos and one without Amibos.
You wouldn't get any substantial edge but it would be a personal choice in how you want to play and what type of items you want to pair with your bot.

Also all the returning modes would return and through game play you could unlock different types of modes from past Excite games like Excite Soccer from 64, Hill climb mode from 64, Stunt Course from 64 and the Track Editor.

The thing with the above modes is that they would be 1 player,local play and online and if you create a track you can upload that to the server and have friends play it in all the different modes.  Think of it as a Mario Maker with Excite Bots assets.


Zack and Wiki:Quest for Barbaros Treasure.   This was one of the hidden gems but I felt like if the friend wasn't as knowlegable with how the game worked that the experience wasn't as enjoyable with a friend.   I think this would be helped by making an option to go online to help with the puzzles because there would be a larger pool of players to help.  Of course you could still have single and local co-op but this change would help a lot.

Boom Blox was a game which I think was ahead of its time and with the way the Switch could do puzzle games and with gyro sensors it would make the physics engine more robust with how you can tackle puzzles.  Just port the game but add that suggestion and it would be perfect.
 
Okami a grand adventure and has been on a few systems but some folks had problems with the brush combat/and just using the brush in general in the Wii version.  I think fixing this would help since the Switch can be more precise with movement there.

I also think some local co-op play could work at different parts in the game with Ami has an extra friend to help with different tasks.  Just picture Super Mario Galaxy drop in and drop out play.

Those 4 would be the top ones I would choose from my collection and haven't been on the Switch already.

I have 6 more that I would absolutely add but not as high.  Those are these.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

It feels like a Nintendo console hasn't had a Tales of game in a while. I think that the story is really great and I think there could be a few tweaks to the game to make it better. Of those I think having to have any character as the playable character in combat would be great and not just Marta and Emil.  It was limited in that you have to have 3 or 4 human/half elf characters in you party and can't use monsters to play as and controlable.  Unlocking this I think would streamline the flow of the game.  Oh also obviously 4 player online co-op with jump in and jump out play and when a player jumps out the CPU controls the character.

New Super Mario Bros Wii.

It's perfect just add it Nintendo.

Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2.

Both great.  For 2 have online co-op with selectable players or even able to play as either Joe or Sylvia at the same time.

I-Ninja

The way I picture this is a hybrid of an beat em up and platformer where in the platformer levels you can guide our hero via touch controls or gyro. Underrated game.

P.N.03.

I feel like this could be a really great game on the Switch just port it over and add more suits and maybe a multiplayer mode with with new characters for Venessa to fight.

Elibits could be lots of fun on the Switch and I think it would morph into a point and click adventure in figuring out each rooms puzzle and how to solve the room all the while collecting Elibits to go onto the next room.

The next 3 are games where they would either be bundled with one of the previously named game or a series where a port isn't as likely.

Red Steel

Bundle it with Red Steel 2 and maybe 3 and have a value pack of games.

Trauma Center: Second Opinion

This could make use of a lot of the Switch's features like HD Rumble and the like.

Little Kings Story is a great game and under appreciated
and would make a great strategy game.

Finally for my big idea.

Game Boy Player.

I picture a a single place where all GBA, GBA Micro, DS, DSi, 3DS, GB and GBC virtual consoles could be its own dedicated eshop and as many of each handhelds will be there on launch day.  When is that you ask?  One day after the 3DS and Wii U eshops go down.

So I figured this would be a good topic to just sit back and unwind about what everyone is up to and where everyone is in life.   Just catch up and relax and just enjoy everyone's company.

I guess I can start.

I am in the process of starting to move to Mesa once all the paperwork for the voucher goes through. Then I have to find a place for that voucher.   I got a few containers for some of my clothes today from Super Target and some of my DVDs and books.

General Gaming / NWR Gaming Stream Party!!!

So I am not sure if we have a dedicated gaming streaming topic it but here it is if we don't.


Streaming games is such a large part of the gaming culture these days so I figure we can have a topic to celebrate our favorite streamers or just advertised some of our own streams when we go online.


With that being said one of our own Phil of Super Philip Central is celebrating his 13th anniversary of his site and he is hosting a gaming stream later tonight at around 6PM CST.   He has said he will be playing Super Mario 3D World" Bowser's Fury, Wonder Boy- Asha in Monster World and Monster Hunter Rise.  There may be other games as well.

Nintendo Gaming / Animal Crossing New Horizons Cataloging and Wishlist thread!!!

Hello my fellow New Horizons denizens I have seen interest in having cataloging and forum members wanting a item but not having it so I thought I would make this thread for that interest. 

I will have this intro post to go over it and the following posts will be members wishlists and whatever catalog items they can purchase to share with others if they wish to do so.  If there is a match for an item or a set of items then members here can PM them that they want to visit the island and give the items or have them catalog to the other player and do it that way so there isn't a lot of extra talk in this thread.   

As for players catalog sessions they can go on still because it helps everyone who goes to them expand their catalog and thus help members expand their catalogs so a higher chance of getting items to other players for their wishlist.  Thinking this can go on in the main thread.

One more thing is that a players inital post can be edited so that it has a record of new wants and members can mention they added some items to their wishlists in a new post.    This should help if a player is helping another and they are getting specific items.   

With that out of the way I will end this intro post and go onto my wishlist in the following post.

General Chat / Creative Outlets while we are at home to enjoy and be passionate about!!

So it has been a month since the US has taken this pandemic seriously and we have been social distancing for about a month since a good majority of the members here are in the US. This topic is for everyone though and it will be about what hobbies, projects, distractions to take you mind off the pandemic.   

It is also a topic for any media where you can post creative things you can do to keep yourself occupied with something. Be it painting, organizing your house, donating to a cause you care about or as to be expected what games you have been enjoying.



So I guess I will start....I have been organizing my room again and getting in touch with my creative side again.    I don't think I have talked about this side of me since I have been on this forum so here goes.    When I was younger I did lots of projects with wood burning with a soldering iron.  I also did some charcoal,  Acrylic and water color painting.  I also used color pencils with drawings mainly with traditional media.  I don't get digital art. Just how to do it and do it well.  One other aspect I don't think I have mentioned very often is I love to play sports like basketball, baseball and swimming when I was younger.  I was on some youth leagues when I was younger but nowadays I just do it for fun.   


So yeah what have you been doing to keep your mental health up or just for fun in this time?  Oh also feel free to share any media that we can do so we can keep ourselves occupied in this time.

INVITATION TO THE MAFIA CHAMPIONSHIP (SEASON 7)

Ahoy there!

I’m very excited to invite your community to participate in Season 7 of the Mafia Championship.

The Mafia Championship is an annual forum-based tournament series that pits representatives from various online Mafia (aka Werewolf) communities against one another as they compete to determine the Internet’s greatest forum Mafia player. Each participating community democratically elects one person to represent them and be their “Champion”.

The tournament first started back in 2013. Since then, 320+ different communities and 50+ different nationalities have been represented.

It’s a super fun event that has created many new friendships and close bonds between communities. I hope that you would be interested in taking part

1. DO YOU ACCEPT THE INVITATION?

If your community wishes to participate, please confirm your participation to Lissa as soon as you can to ensure yourselves a spot. Currently, the plan is to accommodate 150 communities this season. If there is further interest, additional communities may sign up as substitutes; generally there are some replacements needed both before and during games.

If your community agrees to participate, the deadline for selecting your representative is April 27, but the sooner the better.

The games will take place on Mafia Universe. If it’s okay, I can link directly to the general discussion thread regarding this topic on Mafia Universe.

Important notes

• You may decide yourselves how you want to elect your representative, but we highly recommend some sort of democratic process (public nominations followed by a poll usually works out well).
• In addition to electing a representative, you should also name an alternate who will be asked to step in if the first choice needs to back out.
• Your representative should be prepared for having to read upwards of 500-600 posts per 24 hours during the early stages of the game. Additionally, there’s a requirement that each player must make at least 10 posts per Game Day. Only active players should apply/participate. I repeat: Your chosen player needs to be able to promise a good amount of activity on a daily basis.

2. SEASON 7 FORMAT

The tournament structure

• 150 communities will participate, each sending one representative.
• QUALIFIERS: 10 Qualifier Games will be played, consisting of 15 players each. I.e. every representative plays in one Qualifier Game. The players themselves vote post-game to determine who is deserving of advancement. 1st and 2nd place will advance to the Semifinal Games.
• SEMIFINALS: A Jury consisting of finalists from Season 6 will select 25 additional players to advance to the three Semifinal Games. From each game, five players will advance to the Finale Game based on a post-game player vote, just like in the qualifying phase.
• THE FINALE: The Finale Game is played. Once it has completed, the players vote to determine who shall receive the title of Season 7 Champion and a winner’s certificate signed by Dmitry Davidoff, the creator of mafia.

This year’s setup: JOAT^2
The setup is called JOAT^2 and features 15 players.

The setup consists of the following:

3x Mafia Goon
2x Town Jack Of All Trades (9x Doctor, 9x Motion Detector, 9x Tracker)
10x Vanilla Townie

Note that the Jacks Of All Trades must use all three actions before repeating an action, i.e. they are rotating. This does not mean they must use the actions in the same order every time.

Relevant mechanics info
- Day start.
- Majority lynch is enabled Day 2+, but majority is not required at any point in order to lynch.
- Tied votes will result in a player being lynched at random from among the tied players.
- No outside communication. I.e. you may not contact the other players outside of the thread (unless you are Mafia and wish to speak with your teammates).
- Phase Lengths and Deadlines will be up to the players themselves (I’ll organize your representative into a game with deadlines that suit their preferences).
- Thread is locked during Night Phases.
- Votes are automatically locked in at LYLO.
- Mafia factional kills are assigned. They can be tracked, watched, roleblocked, etc. (In this setup, that means they display as an action to the Tracker and the Motion Detector actions.)
- Mafia share a factional Night Kill, which is a single standard shot for their faction. The mafia faction kill is mandatory.
- Mafia may communicate at any time.
- Each individual player may make a maximum of 150 posts per day phase (this restriction is lifted 2 hours before day end).
- The game will have a host to oversee everything and make sure everyone’s following the code of conduct, but otherwise the game is completely automated (automatic votecounts, thread locks and reveals roles automatically, the bot receives and processes actions, etc.).

3. SEASON 7 TIMELINE

There will be 10 Qualifier Games, and your representative plays in just one of these. They will have start dates ranging from late April to mid-June. So in other words, as long as your representative can play sometime during that period, they should be good and I’ll make sure they get scheduled into a game that suits their schedule well. I.e. if your rep is busy until June, that isn’t a problem.

The Semifinal Games will be played in July, and the Finale Game sometime in August/September (whenever we can work out something that suits everyone).

TLDR-  Basically you need to be active enough to make 10 day posts, No comments outside of the thread if you are not Mafia, You need to be active to read lots of posts in the early game.  There will be 15 players with a pretty basic setup of 3 Mafia members, 2 townie Jack of all Trades or for those that saw my 1st Resident Evil Mafia game the "Jill of all trades" is a role based on the Jack of all Trades and then 10 normal townies. 

We need to select a rep for the championship and a substitute if the regular rep can't play.  Deadline for a rep and substitute is April 27th.


So selecting a rep and a sub....   Here is what I propose... If you feel like you can be active during those times and follow those guidelines. Comment in this thread and on the 21st near the end of the day I will take all the players names  and put them in a poll and we can vote for who we want us to rep us. The player with the most votes will be the rep and the substitute will be the second most votes will be the substitute.    I will close the poll the morning of the 25th so we will have time to enter the championship.

General Chat / Gender and Sexual Minorities: An overview and living in the world as ourselves

Hi everyone I am very pleasently surprised to be making this topic on the forum but I got permission from Insanolord that I could so some basic ground rules for the topic. 

This is a topic to learn about those in the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and for those under that umbrella to talk about their experiences as living as themselves in the world today.

Right now until I can get further confirmation from the mods this topic is just going to be about learning and introducing each other to the forum again no matter if you fall within that spectrum or not.  It will also be a topic about our experiences of living as ourselves in the world.

So using the above for now at least we won't be talking about bills and politics that affect the LGBTQIA+ community for now at least.

Also please no jokes about helicopers and such in relation to ones gender or other such trolling. I don't expect this from anyone here but I feel I should still put this out there for the mods sake.

Now you may be asking what are all those letters mean well here is a general overview of those letters.

The L means lesbian and that you are a woman that is attracted to other women.
The G means gay and that you are a man that is attracted to other men.
The B means bisexual and it means you are attracted to at least two genders.
The T means transgender and it means that you identify as a gender different from what you were assigned at birth. This includes no-binary folks. (I'll get to this)
The Q means questioning or Queer.  For Questioning it means you are not entirely sure on your sexual orientation or gender identity. Queer is more of a catch all term for that that are not Heterosexual/straight or cisgender meaning you are comfortable with how you were assigned at birth. Yes Queer has some bad history with it but it is being reclaimed as something that works for the community.
The I means Intersex and that means one had a mixture of anatomy at birth or later on in life or different combonations of chromosomes.
The A means many things but the most common are Ally and Asexual.

The + is everything that isn't listed alongside the above which I will go over below.

Pansexual or Pan for short is someone who is attracted to people of all genders. Typically Bi and Pan are interchangable.
Asexual or Ace for short is someone who isn't interested in Sex, don't feel sexual attraction, Don't want to have sex with people.
Demisexual or Demi for short is someone who doesn't feel sexual attraction with someone until they form a close emotional bond. 

Non-Binary is a term for folks that fall outside of the male and female binary.  So if you can picture an bubble up top with Transgender in it to the left is Transgender Men and the the right is Transgender Women. Right down the middle of those two are Non-Binary.  There are several identities under Non-Binary such as Gender fluid, qenderqueer, bigender and agender.   

 To go over them... Gender Fluid is where someone feels more masculine one day and then feminine the next day. 
Genderqueer is a someone who doesn't really subscribe to traditional gender distinctions but identifies with neither, both, or a combonation of male and female genders.
bigender is where someone could be two genders at the same time so female and nonbinary for example.
Agender is someone who doesn't identify with any gender at all.

A few other terms....

Assigned gender -- The gender you were assigned at birth, aka whether the doctor/midwife said 'it's a boy!' or 'it's a girl!' when you were born.
AMAB -- assigned male at birth
AFAB -- assigned female at birth
Sex -- generally refers to physical sex, what genitalia and hormone levels you have.
Gender -- generally means who you see yourself as.
Gender identity -- whether you identify as a man, a woman, or neither. Ex. I feel like a woman and I want to be treated by others as a woman, so I identify as a woman.
Gender presentation -- how you present your gender to society. Ex clothing, makeup, hairstyle, etc, as well as whether you tell people you're a man or a woman or neither.
Social gender -- how other people perceive you and what they expect from you based on that. Ex someone who has a beard is perceived to be a man, and is expected to act as such (be strong, stoic, etc)

My personal story.

I will try and keep this brief but when I was about 5 or 6 or so I didn't feel like I had the right body and I started to grow my hair out until I cut it and then suppressed things till I turned 15 and those feelings came back and then I suppressed them for 15 years and in 2013 I started transition to fit who I should be in body. I have been on estrogen for about 5 years now and about 4 months back I started on estrogen injections which I have been told is supposed to be better.   
 I started hair removal around 2014 and I still go monthly when I can afford to. I am looking into ways to pay for bottom surgery but it is difficult but I have a few means lined up that might work.  I am also demi-pan and I have a girlfriend for the past 5 or 6 months now. Currently working on now stuff that isn't directly tied with my transition like community college, jobs and improving the house for even more stability.

With the final Ashford Mafia Goon in pokepal148 being voted out that is the end of the game.


The surviving members of Rockfort Island are Nickmitch(Claire Redfield), Mop it up(Steve Burnside), TOPHATANT123(normal townie) and last but not least, Mr. Bungle(normal townie).

As Claire and Steve look out on to the distance they see one person that they have been waiting to find all this time.  Chris Redfield.  Chris is arriving in a helicopter to bring everyone who survived with him to look for more of Umbrella, The Organization or any other company which wishes to use bio terror on the waking world down with swift righteousness and defeat.

   Steve is so happy to of lived because in another timeline he didn't and had to sacrifice himself for others but he sees now the best part of living is caring for others and to make the most of life. 

TOPHATANT123 was a civilian that was trapped on the island and after lots of back and forth on what the best method to escape the island he was able to see the right path and meet up with Chris and Claire to escape the island.

 Mr. Bungle was a scientist working on the island and had seen what his work was doing to everyone and resigned to not do that work anymore and using his analytical skills to divise the best way forward to escape the island and to put a stop to all of what he had in part of creating.  Mr. Bungle destroyed the island and escaped with Claire, Steve, Chris, the imprisoned person and charted a path towards the next frontier....

Now for those that haven't played in my games before I like to have everyone vote for the MVP of the game. There would be a MVP for the overall game and it can be anyone alive or dead that played in the game.   
I also like to have a "wild card" vote for those that were a big changer for the game who could have made a bigger change than they actually did in the way they played.

Story

Results from Day 7

Insanolord was voted out and he was Albert Wesker. That was the last OG Mafia member.
Thus the Ashford Mafia took over the hit for the night and going forward each night.
The newly minted Ashford Successor targeted Steefosaurus and steefosaurus died.  Steefosaurus was a normal townie.

Same deal as yesterday with time of day length.  48 hours for Day 8. With 6 players alive majority will be 4 players voting for the same person.

Story

Results from Day 6

Alexia Ashford was able to neighborize one more player.   Question is who did she neighborize?
stevey was voted out and stevey was Alexia Ashford.  She neighborized 3 players in her time as the head of the Ashford Mafia. She has chosen her successor.

With Alexia Ashford being voted out that means the Ashford Mafia can no longer grow in size.  However now the Ashford Mafia may now make use of the Ashford Mafia hit every even night.  Oh also there is no requirement of size to the Ashford Mafia to use the hit with Alexia's death going forward.  They are out for revenge!!

General Chat / Official WNBA topic: 2020 WNBA Draft time.

Okay so I figured the best place to start with this topic is to give a general overview of all 12 teams in the WNBA and their best players.  This will be in alphabetical order.  So we start with the Atlanta Dream first.

The Atlanta Dream is a mix of young upcomers and vet leadership.  The main vet for the Dream is Renee Montgomery as she has been in the league for 10 seasons. She has been a steading force for the Dream and the young roster who has lots of good young players, Elizabeth Williams and Britney Sykes being two of them.  Willams is the center for the Dream and is a defense player and great rebounder.  In one game she had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 blocks in a game this past season. Sykes just finished her 2nd year in the league and this past season she has reached 1,000 career points, she tied for most points in a quarter with 22, (Diana Taurasi set the record in 2006) and she led the Dream in assists on eight different occasions this past season.   https://www.youtube.com/c/AtlantaDream

Next up is the Chicago Sky, Their main star is their point guard in Courtney Vandersloot who has been in the league for 8 years. She has had 11.2 points, 9.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds per game this past season.  When she is going the whole team functions better and she tends to pass to Diamond Deshields who just finished her 1st season in the league and is already winning awards.  She won the WNBA Skills Challenge and was named an All-Star.  This past season she has scored 20+ points nine times of the 34 games she played.

The Connecticut Sun are a very young team and have only 3 players who have at least 6 years in the league.  One of those 3 players is Shekinna Stricklen. She is more of a 3 and D type of player and she has 287 career three pointers and her overall career stats are 1,520 points, 520 rebounds, 165 assists and 142 steals thus far.

Deep in the heart of Texas is the Dallas Wings and their main playmaker is Skylar Diggins-Smith. This past season she has averaged 17.9 points a game, 6.2 assists and 1.4 steals.  She has won multiple awards in her time in the league a few of those include, All WNBA First Team(2017), All-Star reserve in 2017, starter for an All-Star in 2014, Most Improved Player(2014) and All Rookie Team(2013).  https://twitter.com/DallasWings

The Indiana Fever is possibly the youngest team in the league and there is only one player on their roster who has more than six years in the league and that is 13 year vet Candice Dupree who has always averaged double digit points throughout her whole career. Her lowest point total average is 11.3 in 2016 and her highest point average is 16.5 in 2007. She was the first player ever drafted by the Chicago Sky in their history with the 6th pick in the 2006 draft. She is a WNBA champ with the Phoenix Mercury in 2014. She ranks 8th in WNBA history in points and rebounds. She has 66 career double doubles, 13 consecutive years scoring in double figures. Finally she has played in 32 or more of a possible 34 games each season in 12 of 13 WNBA seasons.

Las Vegas Aces is one of the oldest teams in the league as far as a franchise goes. They started off as the Utah Starzz in 1997. One of the inaugural 8 teams in the WNBA. They later became the San Antonio Silver Stars in 2003. They became the Las Vegas Aces in the 2018 season.

Next up is The LA Sparks.  Like most LA professional basketball teams they have a history of championships. The LA Sparks have three championships in league history. (2001,2002 and 2016). Magic Johnson is the main name under the ownership label of Sparks LA LLC. Derrick Fisher is the Head Coach of the team.    Now the Sparks main star is Candace Parker and she has picked up where Lisa Leslie left off for the Spark. She mainly does her damage in 3 ways, scoring, rebounds and from beyond the 3 point line.  17.0 points overall her career, 8.5 rebounds and 33.3 from three, respectfully.   She also has two sisters on the same team.  Chiney and Nneka Ogwumike. Up in the Midwest is the Minnesota Lynx and have won 2 WNBA championships since 2015. In 2015 and 2017. They have 4 championships overall.  A big part of those championship teams is Sylvia Fowles.  She was the WNBA Finals MVP both years and she was the regular season MVP in 2017. She is a 3 time defensive player of the year, She has been chosen to the ALL WNBA first team 3 times and the second team 3 times. (2010, 2013, 2017) (2011,2012, and 2016) respectfully. The New York Liberty was one of the first 8 teams in the league.  Players such as Rebecca Lobo, Teresa Weatherspoon, Becky Hammon, and Leilani Mitchell come to mind when one thinks of the Liberty.  They have played in the WNBA Finals 4 times, the most in the league without a championship.  As one of the only teams from the inaugural 8 teams to still have the same ownership they have lots of history in the league.  https://liberty.wnba.com/6158-2/  While their past is historic they future is so bright.  Brittany Boyd was the Liberty's first round pick in 2015 with the 9th pick and she was a member of the WNBA All Rookie Team in 2015. Finally to the team I watched the first few years when I moved to Phoenix, the Phoenix Mercury.  They have the 2 best players in the league currently.  Diana Taurasi and Britney Griner.  Many consider Diana Taurisi to be the greatest player in WNBA history.  She is a 3 time WNBA champion, 4 time Olympic gold medalist(One of 5 athletes with 4 gold medals, no one has 5 gold medals), 6 time EuroLeague champ, 2 time WNBA Finals MVP, 10 time All WNBA First Team- most in WNBA history.

Next up is the Seattle Storm. They have the player with the most seasons in the WNBA among active players. Sue Bird. She has played 18 seasons. All with the Storm. She was their #1 draft pick in 2002.  She is often talked with Diana Taurasi as one of the greatest players in league history. Every year she has played she has had at least 10 points a game in her career. Finally the current WNBA Champions, the Washington Mystic.  The Mystic are on the rise.  Elena Delle Donne is considered to be the next GOAT in the league once Diana Tarasi retires.  There is also lots of young players around her to grow while she is still playing her best such as Kristi Toliver, LaToya Sanders, Tianna Hawkins and Arial Atkins.  The Mystics look to continue to play their best and continue to win championships.
