Need For Speed Underground is awesome. Well, what Ive played of it. Ive played it a few times at various stores and it is most definitely on my pick up list.

Need For Speed Underground is one of those rare games that come along where you just CAN'T stop playing it.........and all the while you play it you're calling it a ripoff, unfair, waste of money, pile of crap and want to take it back for a refund.

The game gets DARNED hard.....and that's on easy with an experienced race-gamer. I know that it sold huge, but I'll wager that it sits on MOST gamer's shelves unfinished. It's a b*tch, plain and simple. I finished it in one sitting, since I'm a tuner fan in RL.....but the game wasn't fun, it was a chore, and I'll never touch it ever again.

History.

The reason that I recommended playing the PSX version FIRST is so that he could experience what freaked the gaming community out "back in the day". To get an understanding of WHY the game was so huge. Graphics ain't everything....but what this game showed on a 32-bit system was revolutionary.

Oh, i see. So there isn't "really" a reason for me to play the PSX version is there? I couldn't care less about history and nostalgia.

Hey!

I know we talked a little bit about this, but we didn't get very specific: is Super Smash Bros. Melee any good in single player mode? It's on sale, and it sounds like a must-have, but I play by my lonesome alot, and I don't want to buy a game that I can only play when my friends come over.

Yes it is, there are a ton of unlockables and gameplay modes, and even VS mode by yourself is fun. I've spent around 55 hours just playing SSBM single player.

Although Mouse has already replied, I'd like to futher recommend this game. If you haven't played an RPG before, it might seem a little clumsy and difficult first, but it's a really great game. Skies of Arcadia Legends is an older game that that was ported to the GameCube, so it's graphics aren't as good as some other games, but it's barley noticable and not really a big issue. Although RPG's are one of the more popular generes, there are many people who aren't attracted to them at all. It would probobly be best to rent it or to ask if your sons like RPG's before buying it.

Last thing: Skies of Arcadia Legends can be very hard to find if you are in the wrong place, you might be better off buying it through the internet if you live in a NSTC region.

Yeah true Crime: Streets of L.A. is real good, its fun, and another game that is fun is viewtiful joe, and another game that is fun is mario kart double dash, and the best one is eternal darkness, and burn out is a fun arcade racer too. these are good games to get

Multiplayer - Super Smash Brothers: Melee/Mario Kart

D/Timesplitters 2/Mario Golf: TT/Pacman Vs.
RPG - Skies of Arcadia: Legends
Sports - Probably any EA 2004 game (NHL 2004 is fun)
Racing - F-Zero GX (if you don't mind the challenge), Burnout 2, Mario Kart

racing game that i think is good is need for speed underground, you can modify your cars look and engine, and the drag racing mode is really cool especially if you have a good surround system; only problem i have with it is that the modification for the performance of your car isn't really that great, you dont really have a selection, and if you decide to buy it or rent it you will see what i mean.

Basically I just go to IGN and look at the 9 then 8 then 7 reviews and get all the ones based on the type of games I like. If I'm unsure I read their comments and see if their gameplay and lasting appeal are both atleast 7 but recommended at 8.

i want a good snowboarding game i will either get 1080 avalanche or ssx 3 but im not sure which to get? i played ssx tricky on the cube and its very fun in multi player and theres heaps of stunts u can pull off like the unrealistic uber tricks anyways what do you think i should get?

If you like doing crazy tricks then you would be much better off with SSX 3. If you like fast racing, go with 1080. SSX 3 has a lot more content and a cool new concept (the whole mountain idea), but 1080 is good too.

Has Ikaruga been released in PAL? And if so, could I ask how much it currently costs?
