I thought there was something a little off about the forums. Didn't catch on that karma was gone. Wow. Didn't think that was ever happening.

Well, mission accomplished. And not in getting rid of Karma. As I mentioned before, at the time I got banned for the Free Super fiasco, my karma rating was +87/-235 and at the time karma ended and about 1 year later, I had brought my karma to +256/-254. I had gotten into the positives! And all it took was a lot of stupid postings! That was my goal after the banning and I did it. Ha! So long NWR! I don't need you now.

And here's the bad news: I tried to find a way to allow limited post editing in TalkBack, I really did, but there doesn't seem to be a way to time limit it, it's all or nothing, and I have to side with Aaron that allowing it indefinitely opens us up to all kinds of problems. Sorry about that, it's just something we're going to have to live with.

It seemed like everyone did nothing but bitch about karma, and now that it's gone people are coming out of the woodwork in defense of it. I guess that's what I get for caring what people think about forum policies even a little bit.

My only issue with karma was that it seemed like people would sometimes up/down vote a post instead of responding which is like the exact opposite purpose of a message board. It was pretty amusing when I replied to Chozo Ghost and I knew to expect a -1. Otherwise, I didn't think anyone really cared about it. People seem to care more about the custom titles which was also hilarious. All in all, it doesn't take long to figure out who's who on the forums. Karma typically didn't tell you anything about that person's posting habits.
