had a nice time trolling the staff on twitter
oksoda commented on how his motto is "this body wants what this body wants" and i replied asking if he could repeat the words of Reggie Fils-aime... i think he will be interested in a new motto based on his reaction

i had a bit of a harder time in my attempt to troll John Lindemann when he commented how despite already owning them he still considered 4.99 a rip off for nes games but that he would buy them again on the eshop anyway...
i reminded him of all the poor children starving on the street while he proudly carried a backlog of over 100 games which he replied saying he couldnt help it,

i remarked that if its a spending issue he should use the wiis gift feature to give me games i WILL play

he said it was an issue of 5 dollars is a rip off for a game he already owns...

i said he was in denial(and commented that five dollars is already a rip off for most nes games)

he said it was a spending issue in that the 5 dollars could be better spent elsewhere as he already owns the game

at that point the hypocrisy just blew my mind

also insanolord seems to have a complete mood swing whenever he enters the introduction forum as he comes across as kindhearted, considerate, and friendly there compared to the rest of the fourm

If you knew the history there you'd understand, but I guess it doesn't look good out of context. It was, at least on some level, a joke. SUPER used to have my job, a long time ago.

It's an instance of a time when I have to put my moderator foot down and say that things work this way and whining isn't going to change that. Frankly, I'd be a lot more likely to want to modify/remove the karma system if people weren't complaining about it all the time.
