I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to hear the new themes they're going to have for the champions and Wally.

I am a gamer. I play retro games, modern games, old school games, PC games, cell phone games, tabletop D&D games, Magic the Gathering, console games, portable game & watch type games, Pong games, you name it I play it. Arcade games. But most of the modern games I play are retro-esque to me or have a retro feel.

However I do not play competitive games or online games. I just don't invest enough time to get good enough to compete with other people and I hate the smack talk that goes with online gaming.

As for political, not sure what it was before but, hey take a chance the rules are bendy around here anyways. Trust me on this. ;)

I've had similar experiences in other places with political polls and stuff like that, but I wasn't so lucky  :-\ . Because of this I don't really think it's worth it to take my chances like that. I changed it to this because I can't delete the poll, but it's still worth it getting to know people, and taking a break from this roller coaster of hype and disappointment.

What is considered retro? If I'm still playing GameCube games and GBA games or DS and Wii games is that retro? Am I modern if I play current 3DS games but also play GB games from the Virtual Console on the system? I personally think I'm a mixed gaming ethnicity. I play new and old all the time.

The Gamecube or anything before that (because the DS lasted until 2010 and beyond)

I think that there could be a touch screen, given how big the screen is as it's portrayed in the trailer. And if we see the release of a new Wario-ware game, or a re-release of super mario maker (which is very unlikely, given that you hook the whole console up to the TV and that would be really annoying), then we can confirm this. But again, this is just me rambling.

General Gaming / Bayonetta announcement Reactions
« on: December 25, 2015, 04:00:41 PM »
The characters that were announced in the Final Super Smash Bros. direct got some mixed reactions, with most saying that Corrin and Bayonetta were broken in terms of their move sets and follow ups. Besides Bayonetta, who did you want to win the smash ballot, or who did you expect to win? Because from my perspective, I did NOT see Bayonetta coming at all.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Pokemon training questions
« on: October 27, 2015, 05:19:18 PM »
1) Each Pokemon has one set of 510 no matter how many times it evolves.

2) The difference between 0 and max IVs is 31 points at level 100 or 15 at L50, as I recall.
Yes, but what happens to the EV's when it evlolves? Do I get more EV's?

Nintendo Gaming / Pokemon training questions
« on: October 26, 2015, 08:48:21 PM »
Ok, so I have a few questions about the EV's and IV's in pokemon generation 6 (XY/ORAS) that I hope you guys could answer, as I am planning on training a barboach.

1. Lets say I hatch a mudkip and I use up all of its EV's, then it evolves into marshtomp (or however you spell its name). What happens to its EV's? Do I get 510 more? I don't know.

2. I get how the IV's are the pokemon's genetics, but what significance do they have on the pokemon's stats?

What's your favorite arcade game? It can be any game from beat 'em ups, to shooting games, fighting games, and so on. And what are your thoughts and impressions on it?

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Super Mario Maker
« on: September 13, 2015, 06:02:09 PM »
We had super smash bros. for both 3ds and wii u, yet we don't have Super Mario Maker for 3ds. I mean really, I get how Nintendo is trying to create some sort of console exclusivity, but it's not going to go very well for your 3ds fanbase if you're only going to release the high demand games on wii u because once you leave 3ds users in the dust, more people are going to buy the wii u, and then the 3ds won't sell well anymore because more people are buying the wii u solely for its game library. Then once they try to release a popular 3ds exclusive game, new and old wii u users are going to be screaming about how it's only on 3ds, just like we are about a portable port (which I do agree with you on how much of a great idea that is). Plus, it's Mario's 30th anniversary, so why not put it on all modern nintendo consoles, as well as form a more similar game library among popular games on both 3ds and wii u?

Oh and by the way, the fact that the wii u won't sell very well in the end is nintendo's fault (no offense to wii u lovers).
