I'm pretty sure it was announced for the US as well awhile ago.

Yeah, it was mentioned during one of the news about the ESRB rating future VC games.

The Japanese are getting Genealogy of the Holy War already, this is why Nintendo making the Virtual Console region encoded makes me angry.  We're missing out on alot of amazing titles.

Hopefully they'll find a way to hack the Wii soon so we'd be able to download these games.  I dont care what it does to the warrenty, it'd be worth it just to finally play Genealogy and Thracia 776.

The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Mischief Makers is a possibility if only because it came to the US.

I gave up on Fire Emblem a long time ago.
I would be happy if they released the first GBA game over here.

Well since we've already gotten Gunstar Heroes this early, I'm sure we'll be seeing Mischief Makers sooner or later.

I'm still waiting on Goemon for 64. I was highly disappointed with how badly Toejam and Earl aged.

Can't you already hack your Wii?  Set your region to Japan, and I think that will let you see their store.

Isn't the Fire Emblem text entirely in Japanese?  I doubt they would translate it for the US market.

So are import games.  Doesn't stop many of us from playing them.  That's all we were asking for when we asked Nintendo not to region code the games.  Translate them or don't ... but let us import if we want.

They've found a way to hack the Wii already?  How exactly do you set the region to Japan and then how do you set it back?  Because as soon as I eventually find and buy a Wii, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get Genealogy of the Holy War.
