Title: Those Weird DS Games

One of the things I love and respect about the Nintendo DS is those weird little games that are only out for it. Right now I'm looking for a really good weird game for the DS, so I wonna know what everyone's favorite weird DS game is. So far I'm a big fan of Nintendogs, but I wonna know what everyone is thinking I should take a look at.

There's a really wierd DS game called New Super Mario Bros. Fantastically wierd. On a serious note...Electroplankton is pretty cool, if only for 10 minutes or so at a time. Given that you're a big fan of Nintendogs, you'd probably like Animal Crossing: Wild World or Brain Training, since they're both kind of "you'll feel like a jerk if you don't play them every day"-type games.

I already have Animal Crossing. I'm talking about games along the lines of the Pheonix Wright variety.

Well do you have Phoenix Wright?  If not, you'll lose a year of your life for every day you go without it.  It's a clinical fact.

Trauma Center is really good; also really hard.

If you're not opposed to importing, I highly recommend Oueden.

... I love this game!

Of course, EGM DID give it a 2.0 and most reviewers panned it. If you're willing to play a game where you simply choose dialogue options and get the results above, then it might be worth tracking down a copy of Sprung, it should be relatively cheap by now!

Trauma Center really disappointed me because the first few operations were so interesting, but quickly got so hard that I gave up on it.

Feel the Magic was pretty good, and Rub Rabbits is supposed to be even better, but I can't bring myself to buy a basic sequel when there are still so many other games I want.

Trauma center does have a consitancy issuse with its difficulty during the first half. It can get really hard and then you would cruise along until you hit another road block. But once you find the key to the operation it ios a brezze. If you ever get to the last couple of missions, that changes a little.

I've heard great things about Elf Bowling. Maybe you should check that out! But if you want a really weird game, you could check out Metroid Prime Hunters. It manages to drag the decaying franchise through the mud even more than the GameCube Metroid's did! How weird!
