Soccer in space with mechs.
The 2nd round of the Nintendo World Championships featured the debut of a new 3DS game called Blast Ball.
The game features 3v3 multiplayer where each player is in a mech that uses guns to roll a ball into the goal. Each match in the championships was first to 3 goals, with a goal that gets smaller each time someone scores into it.
There are powerups that offer additional firepower and can force the pilots to eject, disabling the mechs temporarily.
As of yet, no release date has been given for the game.
