3DS eShop to Feature Rating System, Wish List

Videos from the Minna no Nintendo channel on Japanese Wiis show off more about the eShop.

Downloadable games can be rated in the Nintendo 3DS eShop, according to a video on Nintendo's Minna no Nintendo channel on Japanese Wiis. The video shows Super Mario Land with a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the price for Super Mario Land and other Virtual Console games were not shown.

There is also a wish list option that allows users to build a list of games you want and watch videos about them. You can even message your friends regarding games.

DSiWare will be integrated into the eShop, showing up in the same section as Virtual Console games. As revealed previously, users will be able to search for games under specific parameters, such as Mario games.

It also appears that you will still have to buy chunks of money, though as announced before, it doesn't use a point system this time.

Another video on the Minna no Nintendo channel showed off the friends list on the 3DS. It showed a friend of the user to be currently playing Nintendogs + Cats, complete with a cute animation of the friend's Mii playing a 3DS.

I wish they had retained the point system because I tend to impulse buy a lot and the Nintendo points were a way of controling that impulse.

It sounds like they will still have that system, just with actual money rather than points (i.e. you have to pre-load your account with money to buy something).

They should have used the Account based strategy. I don't know how many things I buy on Steam and Amazon because it's a few click till purchase as long as I'm logged in and I didn't have to think about the money by grabbing a credit card to enter my numbers and then mentally turning this into a physical transaction with real money instead of a virtual transaction that cost me nothing that I will miss.

Big surprise you'll still have to buy chunks of money.  Otherwise, you wouldn't have extra money on your account tempting you to buy another game that's just a dollar more than what you have, so you have to put another 5 bucks on your account leaving you with 4 dollars tempting you for the next time.
