I played a bunch of these games, but I didn't contribute to the crowdfunding of any of them. I kind of gave up on game Kickstarters long before most of these games were on there.

I'm starting to dig into this, and man there's a lot to this game. I've played a couple earlier ones but that was a long time ago and I never got that deep into any of them so I'm more or less going in fresh here. The tutorials are helpful, but they still throw a lot of information at you.

Yeah, that’s the one.

Three different spam bots have posted in the same talkback thread for a random review from 2007, and I have to think somebody's fucking with me at this point.

I'll be getting it soon and I'm definitely interested in playing with the people here. I've tried to get into the series a couple times but it never really clicked, though this seems like a good time to give it another shot.

The Series X interface is, as far as I can tell, identical to the Xbox One's, which I like, and fits the approach Microsoft seems to be taking with the platform.

So I've got Disney+ now since I already had Hulu and ESPN+ and I figured it was worth the extra $2 for the bundle. I'm not sure what to watch, though. I'm not really a fan of the superhero genre so the Marvel stuff doesn't appeal to me. What else is on there that people here are enjoying?

Tip to all the spambots out there: if you’re going to blatantly copy an old thread, it’s helpful to do it with one that’s main question hasn’t been answered, such as the one calling for a Link’s Awakening remake.

I guess I'll go with Bizz Nizz - Don't Miss The Partyline.

Ocarina of Time is a great game, but I think I'd have a hard time going back to the N64 version and not having the improvements of the 3DS remake. I hope if we're going to get a "Zelda 3D All-Stars" type package for the anniversary this year they can incorporate at least some of that stuff. As for Mario 64, I liked the graphical touches of the 3D All-Stars version, but I definitely missed the save state feature of the Wii U Virtual Console version.

Also, while I recommended Harvest Moon 64, it's not without reservation. I'm a huge fan of the series, and that's the first game in it I ever owned, and while 64 is still a good game, it's lacking in depth not just compared to modern entries, but other ones from that time like Back to Nature on the PS1.

I played a lot of the DS Polarium, but just a little of the GBA one. I liked them, though, a nice simple but challenging puzzle game.

The Wii U VC  was the first time I ever played Metroid Zero Mission, which is now one of my favorite games. I love both of the GBA Metroid games, but Zero Mission is just perfectly paced.

They've done so many of those Mini Mario games, I really wish they'd go back to that original Mario vs. DK formula at least one more time.

I got a Series X about a month ago and I've enjoyed it a lot. A lot of what I've played is older stuff, but the higher specs and much quicker load times make those a really improved experience on the new hardware too. Coming from an original model Xbox One, the entire interface feels so much better.

A big one I want to point out, though, is DK: King of Swing. I really loved that game, which felt like it just came and went without getting any real attention. You control it with the shoulder buttons, which cause the big ape to grab onto things, and as the name implies, when you're only grabbing onto one thing you swing around it. You use these mechanics to navigate the environment, and it has a lot of neat ideas. It also got a sequel on DS called DK: Jungle Climber, which is pretty good too.

Looked this one up based on your post, but I gotta say it doesn't look very appealing in video form. The movement (jumps especially) looks slow, and there's a flatness to the art style in that Mr. Driller way, but more towards the pastels spectrum. Much prefer the Mario vs. DK visuals.
Looking at the gameplay I'm kind of reminded of Clu Clu Land, of all things.
Is it just a game that looks a bit dull but is really fun to play? Is there a rhythm component to alternating button presses, like how Khush is saying? I'm curious what makes this one so good, since it doesn't really wow me at a glance.

I wasn't that big a fan of the art style, but I liked the game despite that. The Clu Clu Land comparison makes sense in that most of your inputs are just about grabbing with either or both hands. I don't think it feels that slow in motion, especially as it goes on and the game expects more of you in terms of complexity. I don't know what video you saw, but it may have been early on, where it probably is slower and more simple.

Mario Golf: Advance Tour is my favorite game in that series. Mario Tennis: Power Tour gets all the attention around these parts because of Stan's infamous review, but I think the golf version is the better game. I really wish they'd bring back that RPG mode. Golf Story on Switch was fun, but it's not quite the same.

Donkey Konga 2 for DK's 40th.  Calling it now.

(seriously, gimme a bongo-based sequel, Nintendo.  This game was insane.)

Donkey Konga Labo, with cardboard bongos.

Some real standouts here. Both Advance Wars games are great. The DS ones are really good too but I think these are the best ones, at least out of those that have come to the west. Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town is probably my favorite game in that series, though it was recently remade for Switch and that version adds a lot of quality of life improvements.

I don't think money's a factor, it's just a matter of our webmaster taking the time to do it, and I don't know exactly how much effort that requires.
Have you tried asking for his/her manager?

I suppose that's John and/or Neal, and I have mentioned it to them as well.

I keep bringing it up and keep getting noncommittal answers, so if you really want it updated immediately I suggest you find a major bug in the software that lets you ban literally everyone all at once, as that's worked in the past.
