What's amazing about it is that Suda 51 managed to create a game which divides the fanbase in half. Seriously, I've never seen a game divide people like this (some Wii games maybe, but never like this).

Its one of those rare cases in which both camps are right. The fans are right in that the game features an exciting, surreal storyline along with very unique characters and messed up sense of humor while the haters are right in that the gameplay design is pretty bad and presented it in the worst way possible (I really hated the game until I finally saw the second chapter. It then made sense).

Killer 7 is the equivalent of an art house film; a rarity that few see as a masterpiece but with severe flaws.
