Not feeling it since it's done by the MK guys and I'm more of a Tekken and Street Fighter style guy myself.  They play smoother.

I'm hoping for only one actual Nintendo title like Mario or Zelda, but I would prefer to have some good new IP's as well from them.  That would get me more excited, or possibly a 3D version of Pokemon that isn't a stadium fighter...

I'm hoping it's along the lines of the "easier than ever to develop non-shovel ware titles" capabilities have been raised considerably.   My poor Wii never saw it come'n and when it did, it was too late.

I wouldn't mind it if they would unify the friend codes.  I think I've heard it so that the next system will have a friend code and not the games themselves.  Now if, while on the WiiU, you could register your 3DS and see your friends online there as well would be pretty cool. 


Also the idea of being able to talk to your friends or send them messages while not playing the same game kind of like the Vita says it does.  Haven't used and don't plan on buy'n a Vita, but some of the features are kind of cool.  Nintendo is "basically" new to the online scene comparatively, but I think they are on the right track.  If they would send updates via online connection as they improve it even more as time goes on.  That would be pretty cool as well.

This is honestly why I didn't buy the game last time.  Being a gamer from the Goldeneye era and not having moved on.  I loved how RE:Revolaitons (hehe) did the buttons and I felt it worked extremely well.  I wanted a CoD on my 3DS and they snubbed us for it.  Lame! 


I am feeling like I'm the only guy that would prefer buttons to the extra joy stick right now though lol.

Throwing it out there, I preferred the MW titles to the Black Ops brand only because the shooting mechanics play smoother to me.  World at War and Black Ops bothered me way to much with a lag in the mouse mechanics.  Story though... well meh since they charge full price for the multiplayer.  They could all use more attention.

Yeh, I can't tell you the amount of hours I put into Pokemon Blue and how many times I had defeated the Elite Four only to return and do it more and replay the game over again.  I own Black, but now play it more as a passive thing to get my Pokemon on when I need a fix, but can be summed up by my comment to a friend, "Oh, Black has an Elite Four as well eh?"

I've spent quite a few hours on the tri for the Wii, but given that they've added monster and weapons and land, I would more than happily buy this for my 3DS.  I would just be more hesitant though if it didn't come with online play is all.

This is all well and good since I was not in a good mood when they said originally "Japan only", but my real question now is, will it support online play and not just local, because that could still be a game breaker to me.

I love Mutant Mudds, love it!  It's a fun side scroller that brings me back.  Granted it gets pretty challenging, but man that's half the fun of games back in the day.  Not giving enemies 10 mil hit points, but that it actually takes skill to get through a game.  I love it.  Just say'n...

I'm honestly not bothered by the misspelling.  I think it's quite funny and love my new Revalaitons game!  I wonder if this is one of the reasons for the lack of copies at my store or if it's just the buyers do'n what they do "best"...

I was coming back to say just that.  When I got my scan up to 100% it gave me a free herb.  Since I'm am an FPS on the PC kind of guy, this was extremely helpful since I couldn't dodge or hit worth crap.  I believe I'll be playing this on easy when it comes out (I'm such a wuss lol).

It still kind of makes me sad that this is listed at TBA in the NA market when I was pretty sure they said no on this.  It like bringing my hopes up only to slap them down again.  I'm glad you enjoyed the game though.  I would probably played it not in English as well and just read subs.  Most of the time I'm not able to get behind dubs.  I play all my .hack games in Japanese.

I hope it's as worth it as they say.  If it is and people freely purchase it, then maybe some other companies will get off their butts and also make some games with some quality rather than quantity like we saw on the Wii (since it was mostly Nintendo).  I still plan to buy this game when it comes out.
