I don't think I'd find half the shrines without the Sensor.  It definitely causes me to look in areas I wouldn't otherwise.

Speaking of finding things, can someone tell me where the heck the ceremonial trident is?  I've had this shrine quest going on for almost 100 hours now.  I've only tried looking for it twice, but both times were failures.

There's a couple of characters who will tell you very specific information about it. Follow the clues in the quest line.

...Or just read this spoiler: Its in the river underneath the northern bridge that leads out of Zora's Domain. There's a black-skinned Zora on the bridge that will tell you about dropping it.

Even if you can't find it, the Lightscale Trident you'll get from beating the dungeon will work too.

185 hours in and I finally stormed the castle and took on Ganon. Gadzooks I wasn't expecting anything like that. I didn't want to fight him yet but my daughter had been waiting to save Zelda since the moment we turned the game on. After we defeated the 4th divine beast I owed her that much.

Now I'm going back trying to find every piece of clothing, trinket, shrine and Korok I can find. 98 Shrines and 335 Korok Seeds down and every time I find some place new I keep thinking I'm going to find some classic piece of Zelda clothing. Is that Amiibo only stuff or will I actually find something just by doing my regular adventuring?

Also where in the world is the Rubber shirt?

If by "regular adventuring" you mean "completing shrines" then yes, you will eventually find something very classically Zelda.

I've done the four beasts now.  I actually found that the first boss was the hardest for me, and the only one I didn't beat my first try, and it was the hardest dungeon as well.  The last one I did was the easiest in terms of the dungeon and the boss and the pre-dungeon stuff you had to do to get to the Divine Beast.  The Master Sword does big damage on those bosses and the first one I faced was the only one I did before getting the Master Sword so that's probably why it was the hardest.  But then part of the game's whole design is that you tackle things in whatever order you want and prepare accordingly.  I had trouble with my first boss fight so if I got lots of hearts and powered up my gear to make the boss fights easier from then on.

I think I triggered a bug tonight which I really hope isn't permanently saved into my game thanks to auto-save.  I was exploring a windy snowy mountain area and then teleported to a town.  In the town the wind was strong and howling, like it was on the mountain and I've been to that town dozens of times and never saw it windy like that.  So did the wind in that area carry over as I teleported?  And if so is the game going to be stuck like that?  I sure hope not!  But then people have gotten into Blood Moon loops and got out of that by turning the system off so maybe it will be fine.

I don't remember which piece is found where, but I do remember that one piece is far away from the region where you find the other two. But it still makes some sense that it would be where it is.

I had something sorta similar happen. I had warped from the Lost Woods to Death Mountain to explore more there, and one thing I was doing was gliding over the crater to see what was on the other side. But for some reason, the game decided to make Link fall into the crater, and then the screen went white like it does when you wander the wrong way in the Lost Woods. Link then appeared in the Lost Woods as if he had gotten lost there. Funny stuff.

This was just a one-time thing, so I'd guess yours is also.

If there are "other" bosses, I have not encountered them yet.

More useful than hearts are the costume upgrades.  Once you get those, it feels a lot more like traditional Zelda.

Stamina and equipment upgrades have more meaning than hearts in this game.

The fact that there's only a few climates and not enemies that deal damage per second is a huge detriment to the game.

Played again for the first time since my last update and... fuckin' wind everywhere!  DAMMIT!!

I can't find any info on this bug at all so I guess I'm the unlucky one to discover it and Nintendo ain't likely to fix something that only happens to one person!  I can still play the game but all these areas are much less attractive to look at with this constant wind the whole time.

You could try reverting to a prior save. The game seems to keep a bunch of them as optins, so you probably wouldn't have to redo that much.

What have you tried to get around that bug? Teleporting? Going into shrines? Going back to the windy area and then walking or gliding away?
