FireRed/Leaf Green. Anyone have a female character?

Ok right. So as anyself respecting Pokémon fan should know, in the original Pokémon Red / Blue when you went downstairs and watched the television it said four boys were walking on train tracks and that you'd better go too. This is of course, a reference to the all time classic 1987 movie Stand By Me. It's a highly relevent and important reference, because the movie is an amazing coming of age story and a story of the adventure of four young boys. I emphasise boys because it really is a boys film about masculinity and being a man.

Now of course in Fire Red and Leaf Green they retained the reference.

But. I've heard that if you select a female character, the movie displayed is different. I'm just curious as to what film is referenced for female avatars. Is it a female oriented version of Stand by Me?

The power of Gabe compells you.  And it's kind of cool that they changed it.
That's my opinion, not yours.

Wizard of Oz? Lame. They could've done better.

Although I suppose Dorothy was going on an adventure.

I'm fairly sure I saw none of these references in my old GB version.

Wizard of Oz is the best movie based on a novel that was symbolic for how much America sucked back in the day, ever...

(Seriously, it's my favorite classic film...)

Fun factL  I heard today that Toto was originally supposed to be played by a miniature dachshund , but the producers changed it at the last minute because of all the crap that was going on with Germany in 1939.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

It's a movie all about music, magic, and Australia.

Or not.

It's actual a film set in the 1930's Midwest of the USA.  It stars a girl unsatisfied with her home life who is transported to a magical world called Oz that isn't Australia.  On a journey of self-discovery, she and her dog Toto meet new friends and learn that she should be more than content with what is in front of her.
