NWR Mafia Games / Re: Mafia LVIX: Jurassic Park. Day 1.

It took me a second to realize that you were addressing Mr. Goldblum, and not myself. Always seems to happen when I'm not expecting people to be using the name Jeff.

It would be too easy to jump right at what appears to be the weakest link. Although, idk. Maybe that's a master plan to get us to lower our guards and then BAM, we're all dinner.

Vote Stratos

I miss this as well.

I just noticed that my tag is *still* Not Robin. Oh, the memories.

Oh hey, I remember  these. I just found all the old Blackest Night and Flashpoint comics I won from previous games. I'm in.

I think I'm gonna Vote...TJ Spyke for now. Expect that to change once I actually have time to think about it.

Count me in.

55
You know what? **** it. I'll be there.

56
In retrospect, I probably could have saved myself through the use of items and whatnot. But seeing as I was top on most people's lists of mafia suspicion, I eventually decided that I'd take the fall and hopefully lead the rest of the townies to find the remaining true mafia members.

Tomorrow is another day. This will definitely be interesting. Not much I can say to save myself at this point.

Vote silenced

And so we go.

Crap. To explain as well as I can, I've been packing up my life and moving to college the past few days. I voted for apdude in order to actually do something, although it seemed to only make me more suspicious.

In an attempt to save my own skin, I suppose I have to Vote bustin98. Sorry man, no hard feelings.

Android Karenina and  The Meowmorphosis as well. The Pride and Prejudice and Zombies thing turned into a trilogy as well. It's ridiculous.

Podcast Discussion / Re: Episode 290: BOMZALDROPPEN
« on: May 07, 2012, 09:24:18 PM »
When I downloaded this episode this morning, I knew that only two things could be revealed at the end of the episode. Either Jonny would be stepping down as host, or Greg would be leaving. I was more leaning towards Greg leaving, due to the fact that Guillaume that has been appearing on several episodes recently, including the panel at PAX. I couldn't stop myself from skipping to the end of the episode, and it turns out I was right.

I've been listening to the podcast since the beginning of Season 2, and have since listened to every episode many a time over. To an extent, I feel like I've come to know each member of the podcast personally, despite the fact that I haven't met any of you in real life yet. I've grown to look forward to every new episode on Sunday evenings, and as far as I can remember, Greg has been a part of it. His insightful opinions, never-ending love for the Bills, and just all-around Britishness have made the show what it is today. His influence will always stand, and he can never ever be replaced. There is no doubt that Greg will be missed, and the years of hard work that he has put into the show will always be greatly appreciated.

Godspeed, my friend.

Making pretty good progress through Kingdom Hearts 2 (Just got to Pride Lands, which means I'm almost done with going through every world the first time through).

Unfortunately, I now have to add to my backlog. Fallout 1 is free for 48 hours, and seeing as I've never played it, I snatched it up. Because it's FREE. So, yeah, one more game on the pile. And so we go.

I think I'll hit those three within the next day or two while not working my way through Kingdom Hearts 2.

Metroid Fusion:

This was basically my first long-term experience with a 2D Metroid game (beat Metroid Prime a few months back), and I definitely enjoyed it. The only spots where it became frustratingly difficult were the final boss sequence and the Space-Jump boss. Glad that my 3DS came with all the ambassador games already installed, so I could get a chance to play this on something without a keyboard. Looking forward to getting around to the other games in the series here soon.

Dude, you don't want Maxi to rush this. Trust me. His last game was great, so the wait will definitely be worth it.

I'd be down for a new game whenever the next host is ready to start it up again.

To be clear (gonna attempt to defend this poorly), I haven't bought all these games individually. I buy mostly in bulk off eBay, which is my main problem. For example, a box just arrived at my house with 31 ps2 games, some of which are listed above. So many of these games are RPGs though. That's my main concern, I think. I should at least cross metroid fusion off the list by this evening.

The Village: Another of M. Night's movies that was marketed as a horror movie despite the fact that it's anything but. Set in the 1800s, there is a village surrounded by woods, haunted by Those We Do Not Speak Of.  This is a movie created for people who know how to watch movies, if you know what I mean. Ignore Roger Ebert's review of it (he gave it a measly 1 star), and find a copy of this movie. But whatever you do, don't look up ANYTHING about the plot or the ending before you watch it. Amazing movie, in my opinion. I'm working on tracking down a copy of Unbreakable at  the moment.
