A program WikiScanner scan wikipedia edits IP address and matches them to known IPs and find out who really doing it. link

- MSN Search is “a major competitor to Google”. That’s what MSN added to their page

- BBC changes Blair's drink from coffee to vodka and his workout from the gym to the bedroom. Someone from the BBC also changes Bush’s page, changing the name from ”George Walker Bush” to “George Wan*** Bush”

- Someone from The Guardian edits the Wikipedia page of rival newspaper The Times. Originally in the article it is said that The Times sells more than The Guardian. After the edit, The Guardian sells more.


Nothing really too shocking but interesting....

A little more and the editing feature will be gone for good.

I remember when someone edited "Nintendo sucks" onto their page. And I had an embarrassing experience in which someone put a picture of a penis in the Yoshi page.

This reminds me of the time when RAB modified the Captain Falcon page to show some of Infernal's artwork.

He got banned from Wikipedia as a result (i think), but it was worth it.
