i for one am trully exicted.  I am sure that SK will put some new spice to the seires.  It is a remake dont forget, there doing it all over from the ground up.  Expect big big things from this game.If these graphics trully do parallel RE:remake as they say, then it is going to be unbelievable.  I mean we trully are having a treat with this.

to be honest, my goal in rpgs is to level up as high as i can, so when i start the second time, i usually don't stop till i am like lvl 90.  I lover powering upo my Ryodo, brings a tear to me eye.  So the shortest time was when i first beat it, but i cant remember anymore.  It took awile, i love dilly-dallying in rpgs.

all i bloody want is rpgs.  thats it, i would by every single one if they released them.  I would pur hundreds of dollars into it.  I allready own all the RPG's for advance.

And i mean turn based or battle scemed rpg's, none of that baulders gate stuff.  It is the eastern RPG i love, ours are only about finding weapons and armor, thiers are captivating and will allways be remembered.  So i am praying we get some RPG action, and fast.

I must say that i really want a 3d pokemon RPG much more than a mario game.  I mean, come on, it would be so much fun.  And the nedless hours of training, and watching the fights in crisp Cubey graphics.  I really hope we see pokemon RPG GC at e3.  That is the only game now on my wish list.

there is hope yet, go here and read at the bottom two paragraphs.

General Chat / have you seen the ring
« on: April 17, 2003, 08:19:18 AM »
so glad this many people enjoyed it.  I mean it was PG-13 and was the scariest movie to date.  I cant begin to explain my distase for stupid horror flics that have blood spraying and people being eaten and all.  The story in the ring, too, was just so good i couldn't believe it.  I was up at 4 am, just finisihing a paper, and i got the image of the girl in the closet in my head, couldn't sleep.  Kept imagining  that ring flashing before my eyes.  I thought the story made it even scarier.  Everything made tooo much sense.  it was like, it felt so real like i was there.  I hope we see more films like this.

THAT VIDEO TAPE WAS SO DISTURBING, I FELT SICK IN THE STOMACHE.  and not cause of it being gross, but just like the chair spinning and the latter falling, and thing from the guys throat.

My friend is watching it at my hose tonight, i almost dont wanna show him cause it is so scary

P.S.  A movie that was abit graphic, but had a fraky concept, Event Horizon.

Nintendo Gaming / My Idea of a Good Zelda Game
« on: April 17, 2003, 08:10:15 AM »
yes, what you are saying is a good game, but it is not Zelda.  Puzzles are first and foremost one of the major zelda themes.  without them, the game would be just hack and slash.  Also music is very very important.  I dont think you should be able to buy weapons because... you get those in the dungeons, they are your rewards for working hard.  Imagine in OoT if you bought the Boomerang.  It would have been akward.  Dont quite agree with shooting stuff either, well the master sword at full power yes, but enemies shooting at you, no.  I say this because zelda is sorta a calm game, and if you were being shot at you would have to be ruinning around like crazy instead of relaxing.  Ganon, shouldnt be so hard not everyone can beat him, it is a kids game to dont forget, but he could be a bit harder.  The thing with giant cracks is CLASSIC ZELDA.  Dont you remember getting all exicted at the first time you blew those cracked walls to bits and discovered hidden rooms, i wouldn't take that away.  Zelda is a game you are SUPPOSED to beat without to much trouble.  It is an adventure that is fun and mystical.  Your game is too dark.  Zelda has always been bright and happy.  Your game is good, but isn't the good ol' adventure we are used to.

Nintendo Gaming / pokemon r/s questions....
« on: April 17, 2003, 07:54:57 AM »
well i have sapphire.... um i love it alot.  I think that mudkip is easiest starting pokemon, the torchic and trailing far behind on the hard side is Treecko.  The game is really great.  I like Zigzagoon alot, although he has evolved for me.  His pokemon ability is very useful.  Also if you can get a Ralts and work hard with him/her.  I think it is a stronger psycic pokemon than abra was.  Yup, thats it then.

that is completely intentional, it is supposed to give an anime feel, sorta to climax the action.  There is also a brief orchestral hit when you hurt enemies.  Just adds suspense is all.

i almost wanna jump off a building, i was so excited for a good pokemon game, and this isn't even a game, its useless.  The box system in R/S is the best to date, there is nothing wrong with it.  This just makes no sense.

YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People who love grandia as much as I.

I played 2 for so long, my only breaks were bathroom ones.  i didn't sleep while i owned the game.  It truly was the best ever.  Such a cool fighting system.  And the religous themes were so incredibly powerful.  Also the song that the main girl sings is really cool.  LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT.

I let my friend borrow it and she broke it..........WHYYYYyyyyyyyYYYYYYYYYYyyyyYYYy????
anyway, yes it is great.  Havent played EXtreme,  heard it is good, but dont have a PS2, so i will wait till the future when they rae duirt cheap.

Good night.

If an RPG has no love story, itll hit the wall.  Grandia still has my favorite love story.  And i felt so bad for millenia.

Nintendo Gaming / The Death of a Zelda Fan: my WW experience
« on: April 15, 2003, 09:33:12 PM »
the ending should be super happy, like i said, this is an adventure from your childhood, it should be going through the things you dreamed about when turning 4.  Children dont usually think, well the ending to my adventure should be more... dark...  I should be a hero, but not save everything.  To a kid, once the problem is resolved, everyone is happy.  This game trully is an adventure of dreams long forgotten.  Also a kid would never die, there to strong in their dreams.

I just watched it and i thought, "finally a movie that is scary."  I mean you dont need blood and guts to scare people, you need twisted bizzare stuff.  Just wanna say it is now on my top 10 list.  If you havent seen it, watch it ALONE at NIGHT, with NO SOUNDS to bother you.  I keep on waiting for my phone to ring......

i have a really awsome official nintendo case that doesn't have a clip but has a loop to run your belt through.  The case is really small and holds the SP and one extra game.  I love it.

Nintendo Gaming / e3 list
« on: April 15, 2003, 09:16:03 PM »
IGN has put up a list being updated daily of confirmed titles, I will tell some.  I am not sure if i can link to it.
however there is a game named "GAMEZERO"  which i assume is a secret game and also the is "SECRET SILICON KNIGHTS PROJECT."  many more are listed.  The article is not locked and can and should be read by everyone.  Many good things to see, however I didn't see FF:CC or FF: tactics there.  anyway, go read the article, it is on the main page under headlines.

that purple is my favorite color.  I am engaged, watch sports am manly yada yada yada.  But that purple is so cool.  it is the black i cant stand.  so boring.  no fun.  but thats why i like variety, however i do think they shouldn't do the shells, only because there is nothing cool to ask than, what color cube ya got.

i have been saying that from the begining.  Very mononoke feel, but also big spirited away influence it seems, just how it is magical.

anyway, lots of exploring becuase Miyamoto gets all his inspiration form exploring the country areas of his hometown as a child.  I think Link may somehow BE miyamoto.
