TalkBack / Re: The History of Punch-Out!!
« on: December 16, 2019, 02:57:55 PM »
It was Vodka Drunkenski in Super Punch-Out!! in the arcade. His name was changed (for obvious reasons) to Soda Popinski when Punch-Out!! was ported to the NES.

The sequel and Arm Wrestling aren't accessible COMMERCIALLY nowadays, but they are accessible...

Recent installments in the series have made some significant changes to the main Mario Party mode, but unfortunately these changes were not met with positive response. Instead of traveling the board as individuals, everyone was placed in the same vehicle, which would then move around the board at the same time. Luckily this is a thing of the past, as the classic Mario Party play is back.

Thank GOD!

Nintendo Gaming / Pokemon Picross picrites question
« on: January 07, 2016, 06:01:15 PM »
So, I needed to buy 4600 picrites to stop having to pay for any more. So, my plan was to buy the 800 pack then the 4000 pack. Well, after I bought the 800, I went back in to purchase the 4000, and it was no longer available (not even listed). WTF? Nintendo has refused to answer me as to why.

Anyone?

36
Nope, I want the N64 version

37
And STILL no Mario Kart 64!

What's it take, hunh?

Same for me, although more time was spent on Zelda II and Tecmo Bowl that morning.

This has been on my eShop wish list since the announcement dropped.

The Wal-Mart closest to me had Mario, Peach, Link, Samus, Pikachu, Kirby, and Donkey Kong, and they were on display two days early.Picked up a Samus, as my usual GameStop sold out prior to the actual launch (still got my Link and Pikachu from them, though)

16 tracks...

My idea for DLC was for Nintendo to re-jig the tracks from all previous 7 iterations (SMK - 7), and sell the track packs for anywhere between $4.99 and $9.99. Super Mario Kart track pack, $4.99. Mario Kart Wii track pack, $9.99. Etc., etc., etc.
