Mafia XXXI: Day 2.
« on: February 17, 2009, 10:04:47 AM »
Day 1 begin as any other day. Unwillingly. The villagers weren't really sure about my plan and were a bit spoked. That said, a few like me were only too willing to stand up and point the blame at someone said. Unfortunately, it resulted in an impasse as two people were chosen as harbouring Tom Nook or Crazy Redd. So, we gathered around and were discussing various options of how to resolve such a sticky situation. However, one villager decided to take things into their own hands.

Mint cooed softly to Stevey and convinced him to come along with her for a trip through the cherry trees. However, Mint was actually Stevey into a trap because waiting for him in the trees were the villagers who wanted to kill him. Sitting together under a tree, Stevey turned to Mint and said, I know I normally wait until Saturday but I'm going to break my own rules and sing you a song right now. Sing me a song, wondered Mint. Suddenly Mint realized who she was talking to. Wait, Mint stood up and screamed, but it was too late. Three axes suddenly flew forth from behind some surrounding trees and impaled Stevey to the tree. You don't know what you've done, Mint sobbed. We've killed K.K. Slider. Stevey gasped for his last breath of air and then died, his guitar falling from his hand to the ground while the villagers ran off scared.

That night, Tom Nook stood outside Maxi's house waiting for him to show up. He was not in a good mood. Upset at the situation he found himself in, Tom Nook wanted to send a message to the villagers. I give these people houses and this is how they repay me. They should all be fighting for my mercy so that I don't foreclose them all. As Maxi approached the house, Tom Nook jumped out from behind it. Where's my money, Tom Nook yelled, running at Maxi with a knife. Suddenly, the ground opened up and he fell in. Run, a voice cried out. Looking towards the voice, Maxi saw Sable holding a shovel waving him to run away. He turned and fled. Sable then ditched the shovel and ran back to her house before she was noticed missing. On recieving word that Tom Nook had been captured, I hurried over to the site only to find the empty hole. However, there was a lot of tracks surrounding the hole, suggesting Tom Nook had help in escaping. Things wre getting tougher.

Meanwhile, Mr. Resetti popped out from the ground and began looking for K.K. Slider. He soon came upon the gravestone. What? Someone already killed K.K. Slider. What low-level dolt did that? I was going to kill him. K.K. Slider is one of the most precious people this lousy town has. Oohhhhhh. I'm so mad, I almost want a re-do. Aw, forget it. I'll make the mayor regret his reset tomorrow. And with that, Mr. Resetti dug up Stevey's grave and made a bonfire of his remains. Then he ran off into the night laughing gleefully to himself.

Seeing the sight of Stevey's dug up and burnt ashes seemed to harden the resolve of the villagers. Knowing that Tom Nook had been close to capture also seemed to embolden the villagers into following my lead. Unfortunately, the villagers didn't have much of a plan with how they were going to carry this resolve as the next day would show.

Announcement post.

Results:

Mint has chosen Stevey to die in the vote.

Stevey - K.K. Slider - killed in vote

Tom Nook placed a hit on Maxi. The hit failed since Maxi was protected by Sable.

Mr. Resetti placed on a hit on stevey but with stevey's death in the vote, it was irrelavent.

Thus, the only death to occur is Stevey.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today is a Crazy Redd day. Now, you're all in for it. Go Foxes.

Voting ends as usual at Midnight EST.

That's it to report.

I was just about to go to bed. Lucky I saw this.

I might not be able to be on in the morning so I'll just throw out a vote so I don't end up dying.

VOTE PALE

This vote is completely random I picked the number 6223 and did that adding up thing to break it down get a digit from 1-23. It ended up being 6 and Pale is the 6th name on the players list.

I first picked the number 540601, but that was taking to long to get a number.

**Opens up Morning Paper and sips his Roobios Tea.**

What has my little townie gotten itself into?  An attempted murder on poor Maxi?  And the townies crucified Stevey for what reason?

What is a Rescue Raptor to do?  I want to protect my villagers, but how?

**Hours Later A new sign is posted in front of Rescue Raptors house**

Due to Recent Events I Am Afraid My Skills are More Needed Than Ever.

Because of the outbreaks in violence, I can not be everywhere at the same
time.  This means I must unfortunately, start charging for my Rescues.
Please understand, I don't want anyone to die...but I must protect
myself and my skills from being taken advantage of.

Yeah, I'm with Spak. Let's just see if this problem gets resolved soon. If it doesn't, obviously the game will have to pause.

Dear Mr. Ian Sane,

I'm sorry my handwriting "displeased" you yesterday.  As you would imagine it's quite hard writing with wings.  To try and resolve that I stayed up all night trying to improve my writing.  I think I improved a little bit wouldn't you?

Apollo

On another note.  I awoke this morning to find my blue roses gone!  GONE!!  After some detective work around town I took a peek inside Nook's.  Here's what I saw...

He took my two loves, coffee and my roses, away.  This is the last straw!
---

AHH stevey!!  Man this sucks big time.  This brings back memories of the Charlie Brown mafia when the townies voted out the inspector on day 1.  I don't think mint should've acted but if decoyman is indeed a townie it's a good thing she voted for stevey rather than decoyman.  Stevey would have been hit by Mr. Resetti anyways and we would have lost two townies.

i forgot about mafia re-starting and i've been sick since yesterday, so to avoid being killed off by inactivity (most likey won't play tomorrow) i'm going to vote at random:

Vote GoldenPheonix

Because in reading over yesterdays thread, i didn't notice a word out of her. Plus no one else voted for her, thus making this a throw away vote that no one should follow.

Hmm, Gylldas, you have a point. That makes me feel a little better. Stevey was able to draw two deaths so we only lose one townie...

Thanks, Mint... I just realized I didn't thank you before. You done good, whoever you are. <3

Also, another strange glitch is that when you are trying to send a new private message to someone.  It is not giving the feature to auto complete the username...or rather it is giving older users and not newer information.

Like I type in Max but it won't display Maxi only max3 maxed, maxerick.  Or Gold only brings up Goldie instead of GoldenPhoenix.

Why is Spak trying to send PMs to Maxi and GP?  Are they on the same mafia team?  Hm ....
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Dear Vudu,

I am glad you have taken a public concern for our beloved village, but please refrain from jumping to conclusions.  I was speaking to the post office trying to get a problem resolved for our entire town about the Mailman refusing to send our private messages.

While discussing the matter with the management, I used two names that I PM regularly and can quickly/easily check what is going on to report an issue.  I also sent test messages to Pale, Khushrenada, Dasmos, Maxi, GP throughout the day and none of them were going through.

Now that the Mayor and the post office has come to an understanding, I am sure the we can all get together to solve the current problems with our village.

Thank You,

The RR
