Yeah, after I posted it here, I still thought I'd want more people to check it out. So I put it on my GT Blog and NeoGAF and submitted it to GoNintendo since I figured RMC would find it interesting.

It's in the sheet music that came with Final Fantasy IV Piano Collections.

So, when I was working on the Chocobo's Dungeon review, I was thinking about how the chocobo's look has changed throughout the years, but I couldn't find this old Amano drawing anywhere online. So I decided to snap a shot of it and upload it myself. Some people think it's creepy, but I like it:

It's basically Chibi Robo with a pointer, no climbing, and a really lewd sense of humor. I'd love to play it in English, but considering the many characters from Japan-only games, giant boobs on the beach, Birdo vibrator, golfer with itchy balls, and the low sales (6400 copies last week according to Famitsu), there's pretty much zero chance of seeing it here.

I take it they didn't send you to PAX. I saw the grungy looking dude from GTTV.
I just got back from another trip earlier in the week, but yeah Kayser and Rich Brown are there.

Hello there! Anyone still lurking here? Well, here's the newest if you are.

I still lurk, but I rarely check out any of the videos because they generally don't load on either of my computers.  :(

Game Videos > Game Trailers

Eh? That doesn't make much sense to me. Most of the comments I've seen complain about GV taking forever to load. I dunno what the problem is, but if my seven year old clunker can play them, you should be able to. Even if you have to download the quicktime or something.

E3 Awards 2008, Most Innovative

So now that I have some space to breathe, let me rundown my E3 this year.

Monday was a semi-normal day in the office uploading videos.

Once Tuesday started, the rest of the week kind of blurs together. I got to the office just before 7:00 and took the shuttle to the convention center. Met my camera man there, went to the Hotel Figueroa to talk to the guys about the Conduit, then had new appointments every hour, trying to squeeze as many games as possible into each one. I went to Eidos, Lucas, Namco, Midway, EA, and then sat in on a Tri-Ace roundtable interview which really didn't work for camera at all. I did go to the show floor once because I thought an appointment was supposed to be there, and I think it was smaller than last year.

Then I wrapped camera and headed back to the office. We had a meeting, then I slept under my desk for a couple hours since I was working the overnight shift - floor was harder than I anticipated. Uploaded and pulled down new videos until about 11 am. Went home to sleep for a few hours. Came back at 5:00 PM (with a sleeping bag in tow this time). Worked until about 5:15 AM. Slept under my desk (much better with sleeping bag) until 9:20 AM and then got up for my next shift which lasted until 6:00 PM or so.

If you haven't been able to keep up, this is Thursday night now. My girlfriend and I met up with the NWR crew for dinner in Little Tokyo - Jonny, Windy, TYP, Kairon, and Billy came. We had sushi, hung out for a while, than walked around and got some mochi ice cream.

Went home and passed out watching TV. Then headed back to work from about 3 in the afternoon until 4 in the morning. Then we came back in on Saturday to vote on E3 awards which took about 8 hours (including some hefty delays) and a couple more hours in additional meetings a couple days later. Much of this week was spent making sure nothing we shot got looked over and putting together the awards videos, but now I can finally say that I'm done with E3 stuff.

Why dont we ever see you or hear you speak?

That's just the way we cut the interviews. We're not hosts or anything, best to leave it to the point and let the answers speak for themselves. And you can see my reflection in the TV during the Dead Space walkthrough.
