No we are just laughing amongst ourselves. Nick Dimola and his siginifcant other use to work for NWR then they started their own gaming site.

NWR does produce professionals in the game field though. Billy Berghammer you probably know, Daniel Bloodworth works for GameTrailers.

Chuck Jose is a former NWR staffer.  He left, and now works at TellTale games.  Oh, and he writes a little for PixlBit.  Or will be soon. >.>

I can't think of anyone else who wasn't already mentioned, but I'm pretty sure there's probably more who've started work in the industry after getting involved with NWR.

Who here gets excited at the prospect of buying gaming plushies?
I'm a grown man with a family and I'm not afraid to admit that I squeeled like little girl when I saw the Raskulls plushie at PAX. Now to hide it from my 2 year old daughter...

You should definitely check out Radio Free Nintendo (and NWR's other podcasts too, but RFN first). I never listened to podcasts before I heard RFN, and I wish I'd started sooner.

Well, I used to listen to a podcast, but ended up having the entire original casters leave the show, including the founder. I have like PTS or something from that incident which prevents me from getting into any more podcasts.

If you can assure me the podcasters will never leave, then I'll check it out. XD

I think Windy has done some game testing.

To be fair, Windy was a game tester before he became director at NWR.

I am curious why I was invited here out of the blue though.

Wacky? Haha no I'm not a very wacky dude. As for adventures, High School is an adventure unto itself.

Also, I am a pokeaddict, and most of my free time has gone into Pokemon Black over the last few weeks.

I discovered RFN about 6 months ago. That stuff is crack in audio form. About 2 weeks ago, I finished listening to every episode, including E3/PAX specials and other unnumbered episodes.

That's about it for me. So what's goin' on with everyone else?

Awesome, I want to hear this Mario impression.

Do you have a marinara sauce recipe?

I will post it here as soon as I find it!

No I don't have one because I very very very rarely eat pasta with seafood. Here's one I found anyway http://www.gustissimo.it/ricette/pasta-molluschi/spaghetti-alla-marinara.htm

Uh, marinara sauce is just what we call tomato sauce here in the US. I think it literally translates to sauce of the seafarers?

I've attached the file. Feel free to LOL  :P: :)

yes it's pretty much that. "Pasta alla marinara" literally translates to "seafarers' style pasta" and it's pasta (usually spaghetti or linguine) with seafood. It's actually pretty weird for me that you call tomato sauce "marinara", anyway I'm sure there are tons of English words that we in Italy use in weird ways aswell hehehe. We call tomato sauce "sugo di pomodoro" (it just means tomato sauce) and the one with meat in it "ragù di carne" (tomato and meat sauce) or "ragù alla bolognese" which you probably spell "bolonnaise" or something.

If you have any question (not just food related of course) I'd be happy to give you some first-hand info about Italy and anything related. There's too much misinformation floating around these days (and that sadly happens with US related stuff too).

As an American of Italian descent, my family and I all call it gravy (ragu) instead of tomato sauce. My wife, also of Italian descent, calls it similarly. All of our grandparents who are "off the boat" have been calling it that since they came here and I suppose it has just stuck. At least here in America, you always know an Italian when they call it gravy.

Also, you can't get the stuff from the store - gotta make your own.
